holy fuck do any true dragon quest ix fans remember the 11th grotto boss, tyrannosaurus wreck and his sister the wi-fi unlocked bonus quest boss, tyrannosaura wrecks who are 2 of 5 extremely powerful demon siblings called the hackson five but tyrannosaura wrecks killed the other 3: tyrannosaurus wrocks, wracks, and wrucks?

cause appparently tyrannosaurus wrucks comes back to life when killed and so the supreme sage who infamously sealed tyrannosaurus wrecks inside a tome before he got out also sealed tyrannosaurus wrucks inside a lamp and he got out at some point in dq10

well what i've learned now is that as far as a officially used hero names go, in dq walk, it seems you assemble a party of 4 and in official media the names used are Walk, Skip, Move, and Run

reading what a japanese wiki has to say about zenus is interesting. so yeah, zenus aka gran zenith made celestria as his first daughter and then zenethia and lutiana as his second and third daughters. however, they may be the 3rd and 4th daughters depending on the canonicity of dragon quest walk. yeah, you know the japan-only pokemon go-type game? yeah that got involved with dq9 lore and had zenus' second daughter, ペルセリア (peruseria). idk about that chief. that sounds non-canon, she was NOT mentioned in dq10 so idc

oh my god i've been so stupid. there i was like hey there's one part of dq10 v7 that doesn't add up. so lutiana named the god of human gran zenith after her father. gran zenith was the father of lutiana and zenethia

then the spirit that was obviously celestria was saying gran zenith was her father, she was just created way before zenethia and lutiana

and i was like huh? but shouldn't gran zenith be your like distant descendant or something?

nononono. gran zenith IS the japanese name of the almighty grand architect localised in english as zenus.

THAT WAS ZENUS THE WHOLE TIME THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE FUCK.

what's important though is that lutiana, the goddess that created astoltia, the world of dq10, is in fact the much younger sister of celestria.

it's just so funny i never worked that out cause zenus in dq10 is a much more loving god than the "from dust they came and to dust i shall return them" guy i remember from dq9. guess he got nicer when he was put back together.
