The 'Beastly Bazaar' is a famous group of retired heroes.
You can meet them on your quest, and they will even train your party - if you can impress them with stories of your own adventuring feats!

First draft of a bard character!
This good boy insisted we take a break from game dev today
Pssst... Those icons around the UI aren't just for decorations. They're actually genuine counters for each stat - So the food shown above 'supplies' is literally the food your party has :)
Tired of your non-active party members watching your group get decimated from the sidelines?
🚨🦸Benched party members can join the fray to turn the tide!
If a character falls in combat, they'll be teleported away to a safe location.
👍Good news: no perma-death 👎 Bad news: You'll need to find them to have them rejoin
Lucky there are 16 characters for you to use when your favourites are missing
Skeleton go bonk 💀💀💀
At the end of each turn, characters make a Wisdom Check to try and analyse the enemy.
Succesful rolls reveals: ❤️🩹Health 🎲Stats (the red/blue dice) ⚔️Intentions: This one will attack Raven (green), then fox (orange) and then confuse Viper (blue)
When attacked, Questline characters will make a defensive roll with one of four results:
🩹Fail the roll and take the hit
🪓Block!
💨Dodge!
🪞Counter attack!
Here's Raven demonstrating why a bow and arrow is just as dangerous close up
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Depending on their dice roll for their offensive action, questline characters can either:
🎲Critically fail 🌬️Miss 🪓Normal Hit ⚔️Two hit combo 🔥Critical hit!
Here's Lynx showing her critical hit combo vs a skeleton
Questline has an innovative no-menu #turnbased combat system
Party members will show their intended strategy in a speech bubble, which you can click to quickly change
Members can change between:
⚖️Balanced ⚔️All offence 🛡️All defence ❤️Supportive
Progress on skeleton run animation over 13 iterations!
Interesting to see how the perception of how fast he is running is affected by seemingly unrelated changes
Lynx so scared to see the skeleton in action she crit fails her first attack
First look at skeleton in motion! 💀⚔️
New skeleton enemies just dropped 💀💀💀
Questline is a #roguelike game, which means you'll get plenty of chances to learn from your mistakes and try an event again.
But even if you're seeing the same event twice, the dynamic dialogue system means it will play out differently.
