Interview my OC about questions that has no easy answer.
1. Which should be saved – a bus full of innocent lives or a loved one?
2. You meet a man who has killed someone and done time for it before. Does this factor into how you treat him? Will he ever truly escape that sin?
3. If you could jump back through time to save a loved one’s life, would you? Despite what it might to do the timeline? To everyone else? Do you believe it is their fate to die regardless?
4. You have a secret you swore not to reveal. But this secret is the only thing that would prove your innocence in a separate matter. Is it worth risking your own well-being for the secret? Or would you betray the trust given to you?
5. Is it better to hurt others before they hurt you or let yourself be walked all over and hurt by others?
6. If you tell the truth, an evil person gets to walk away free. If you lie, you may be able to send them away like they deserve. Is honesty worth more than justice?
7. You have the key to immortality in your hands. But not for free. If you want it, as a price, your worst enemy also gains immortality. Is it worth it?
8. If you could gain as much money as you want for losing a sense, would you do it?
9. Can people be held accountable for things people close or related to them did or are they innocent?
10. If a lot of people, possibly innocent people, have to die in order to make a real change, is it worth it? Can you live with their deaths even if it helps people in the present?
11. Imagine there is a beast that craves attention. If you ignore it, despite being deadly, it will leave you alone. Could you live like that? Even if it possibly attacked others? Would you try and challenge something that unknown?
12. If someone else stole something and you stole it back is that a good deed, a bad deed or one of equal worth? Are you better than the original thief?
13. Could you sacrifice yourself for the good of everyone else?
14. What of love? Say you discover your lifelong crush on another has finally been reciprocated… but they are currently dating a family member or a dear friend the crush feels responsible to honour. Do you force the break up? Date on the side? Bottle it up forever?
15. Is lying to others to gain their approval more important than being genuine and hated?
16. Have you ever contemplated killing someone? Who and why? Would you ever act on it? Are you frightened you might?
17. Have you ever gotten sheer joy out of hurting someone else, either physically or mentally? To whom and why? Did it scare you?
18. Have you ever done something morally wrong? If it’s morally wrong do you regret it?
19. What is more likely a thought to you – that this world is wrong or that you are wrong?
20. Are there people in this world who, no matter how much time and penitence is given, should never be forgiven?
21. Are there people in this world you simply think the world would be better without? If you could erase them out of existence without physically murdering them, would you?
22. How do you feel about having an intimate relationship with someone you don’t love? What if they love you in return? Does that make you feel guilty?
23. Could you ever become your own hero? Is that a role you can fulfil or is it something you look to others for?
24. How do you feel about tears? Are they cowardly and weak? Do you cry? Would you consider that shameful?
25. What is more important to you? An idea of yours being used and appreciated or the credit for that idea beings yours and yours alone?
26. Is your personal happiness more important than anything else in the world? Than fame? Than the happiness of others?
27. How far would you go to achieve a dream or ideal? Does it matter who suffers? Does it matter if you suffer?
28. How long would you wait for the one you love? A year? Fifteen years? Forever? Could you honestly be loyal to an unfulfilled love?
29. Is genius equal to hard work? Does a genius deserve praise for doing well without effort? Are they above us?
30. Do we live in a world of parallels? Can there be no hope without grief? No happiness without suffering? Or is a utopia possible?
31. What is more important to you? Being respected and praised by your elders or being looked up to and championed by those younger or of the same age?
32. If you could choose to remove certain feelings such as anger, confusion, sadness, would you remove them?
33. If you could wipe certain memories from your head, would you? Why would you? What memories?
34. What path appeals to you more? An exciting dream that leaves you possibly penniless and alone or a drab existence where you have steady success.
35. Is every person in this world wholly unique or can they be categorized? Can they be grouped and mentally dissected? Are you just another sheep in another flock or are you the sole unique soul?
if isha played overwatch he’d probably be mercy…. celine also. double mercy. no one dies. everyone lives. kat could be tracer. or mei?? kiki for dva?? ah celine could alt be mei… idk about the others ive been awake too long playing too much in such a short time haaah

On the care and keeping of your scientist
Congratulations on adopting a scientist! Regardless of their field they will require much coffee, free food, and love. Here are some field specific tips for keeping your scientist happy and healthy!
Biology: make sure they don't get overly invested in their model organism by reminding them about the flaws inherent in their system on a regular basis, but also make sure to join in when they criticize other models in favor of their own
Chemistry: don't let them do that 'just one more reaction' at 10 pm. make sure they get out of the lab and see the sun on a regular basis. try to keep them from partying too hard when they do leave the lab
Geology: humor their rock puns but don't let the lick the rocks (they will tell you they need to lick the rocks to identify them, but don't fall for it)
Astronomy: try not to let them become completely nocturnal. point out nice stars to them and look suitably impressed by their "pictures" of planets that don't look like anything to you
Physics: take them to the park on a regular basis to remind them that things larger than subatomic particles exist. bring a frisbee or a ball to play catch with and be impressed by their ability to calculate trajectories
Math: always make sure to have free batteries for their calculators and a mathmatica user guide on hand. Humor them when they tell you why space without angles is important
Ecology: make sure they remember to wear sunscreen and keep an eye on them in the field. Remind them to come inside and analyze their data occasionally
Psychology: don't mention Freud or ever call them a soft or social science, but make sure you gently remind them that social factors can impact reproducibility and try to keep them from drawing sweeping conclusions about the inherent nature of humanity
Neuroscience: be suitably impressed by their newest experiment and then remind them that people are not mice as often as possible
Computer Science: make sure they take breaks while debugging by limiting their supply of coffee. Nod and smile when they go off on indexing and arrays. Make sure they always have a rubber duck.
Make sure to keep your scientist away from engineers unless they have been properly socialized to interact in a translational household. The most important thing is to remember to hug your scientist on a regular basis and remind them that there is life outside the lab
“Precious carnivore needle teeth~!”
“How do you even manage to not bring fur in on your clothes? Isn’t the boss allergic?”
“The glorious invention of lint rollers and a dryer.”
“I dunno, I have trouble getting stains out of my lab coat. Maybe you’ve got some laundry magic up your sleeves.”
"I can get stains out of anything. Polish Secret."
Emory was trying to find her way around the massive and, to her, terrifying building to deliver the box of papers and reports when she heard a mew from a cat. She loves cats. Her one goal now was to find this cat and she succeeded and smiled brightly at the cat once she had found it before looking up at its owner "Oh...hello!"
Celine was giving Argon his daily walk. Their small apartment wasn’t enough space for a cat that was once outdoors. Several weeks of encouraging and failed attempts, she was able to get him on a harness and leash for walks. He was a noisy cat too that talked to everything that passed him by, including this new stranger. “Oh, hello. How are you today?” Celine asked, watching Argon as he walked over to sniff at the stranger’s shoes.
“My school did the Phantom of the Opera as our school musical one year. It was lots of fun and I know just about every song.”
“That surely gives you brownie points.” She nodded, “There are a lot of other requirements, but if you show off those skills, you just might get in!”
“well if that gives me brownie points then I guess playing the violin and the clarinet does too? I also went to school for psychology and chemistry for like 3 years and have the papers that say so.”
“That builds up your resume pretty well. Why not apply? He may not accept, but at least he will have interest, I’m sure.” She grinned and wiggled her toes in her shoes, which warranted a mew from Argon. “Is there anything else you wanted to know?”
“Do you want to have coffee sometime?” She decided that there would be plenty of time for other questions if she got a yes.
He paused for a moment to think of her schedule, “Yeah,” she agreed. “That sounds good. I know of a good shop on campus. Strexbucks is what it’s called. A little pricy, but their coffee slushes are to die for.”
She didn’t have much money and really needed some new sneakers…”Alright I’m sure that’ll be fine, I have a day off on Tuesday. Does that work?”
“Yeah, that works. See you then?” She pulled out her phone, “How about we exchange numbers so we can find each other?” A new friend!
She also took out her phone, the outside of the phone was painted rather than it having a case. “You can just type yours into mine if you want to” She offered her phone forward to Celine.
Celine switched phones with her new friend. Her phone had a plush backing to it in dark blue. She typed in her phone number and offered it back. “This way, we can find each other. Here you are.”
She swapped back after inputting her own number and smiled “Yes, we must talk more when the both of us have more time.”
"Yes, of course. It was nice meeting you." She pocketed her phone. "Did you need help running your errand for your boss?"
David laughed, nodding slightly. “They really are. I absolutely adore them, and they get the best possible care I can give,” he said, smiling as he continued up, passing his flat before he opened up the door to the garden, revealing the little oasis of green within the desert.
“Oh, and Barnabee? No, he’s a robot. There was a long period of time in which I wasn’t good with people, and so in an effort to ensure that I could work effectively, I was given several robots to work with me, and Barnabee takes care of me and feeds me.”
The splash of green was awe inspiring. When was the last time she saw something so lush? She had almost gotten used to the xeriscape of the desert community. All she could mutter was ‘wow’ as she walked in. She set the carrier on the ground to allow Argon to take a few good sniffs of the area. “Robots? You know, before I came here to work for Strex, I didn’t know robots were a real thing. I heard of them, but they were always failures. Here, even the security are robotic and they look like us!” She grinned and glanced around a little more to take in the atmosphere.
David grinned as he looked at her, seeing her reaction to his little oasis, and he nodded slightly, closing the door behind them and offering his hand to Argon for a moment before looking over as his two little kittens came tumbling out of some bushes, play fighting and tumbling over each other before spotting the newcomer and padding over to meet their new friend.
“Yeah, robots. It’s pretty amazing, especially in just the years that I’ve been here,” he said, trying not to linger too much on whether or not he knew about robots before he came to Desert Bluffs, if he even did come from outside the area. “But feel free to look around my garden. The gazebo’s just over there, and we’ve got some fruit trees and bushes and a little vegetable garden on the other side of the building,” he said, smiling brightly to her as he pointed out the paths that would take her to the respective areas. “And bees. I have proper bees as well up here.”
Argon was hesitant at first, but one sniff and he immediately rubbed his scent all over the hand offered to him. He seemed to visibly sigh at the sight of the two kittens bounding to him. The entire area was too perfect. She looked around and noticed the kittens headed their way, then glanced down the paths to see what was pointed out. "Wow.... self sustaining?" He did notice some bees working hard on the flowering plants. "Bumbles? Harmless right?"
Prey spotted.
