He looked down at the other, looking at him curiously before looking straight forward once more. The giant didn’t really seem to care that the other had fallen asleep while hanging onto him.
; ❀ ; — A comforting presence. Something Hisoka hadn't really had for ages, it seemed, recalling all the nights he went without sleep because that presence wasn't there.
Sleepy grey eyes opened halfway as his head was tilted upwards, "Noro,"

He blinked a bit and gazed down at the other. His head tilted lightly in response, but he didn’t really question the other. Noro just went back to staring and waiting.
; ❀ ; — It wasn't long before Hisoka dozed off there, latched onto Noro like some sort of parasite.
Noro didn’t seem phased by the other leaning against him. In fact, he just let him. It wasn’t like the other leaning against him really did anything.
; ❀ ; — There was a pause before Hisoka moved so that he was standing right next to Noro, sleeved arms coming up to wrap around the other's arm.
Noro nodded lightly in response before wiping the board down and putting it away. If he needed it again, he could always pull it back out.
; ❀ ; — The tiny male leaned against Noro, his weight almost nothing to the taller.
It took him a moment to understand before he turned the board back to where he could write on it. He used the sleeve of his cloak to wipe it clean before writing on it once more. The board was then turned around so it could be read once more.
I will go, when I have the time.
His time depended on Tatara, and whether or not he was ordered to do something.
; ❀ ; — The broker gave a light nod, smiling up at Noro once again.
"Thank you,"
He blinked underneath his mask. He wanted him to go hunting with him? He pulled out the small dry-erase board he had to communicate and wrote something down on it before turning it so the other could read.
Why?
; ❀ ; — "... I don't want to snap again," Hisoka stared at the letters neatly written on the board, brown oculars looking back up at the mask Noro wore. "I'm scared that I will."
Noro didn’t really do much of anything else, he meanly leaned back against the wall behind him. He let the other eat and just kind of stood there, like he always did.
; ❀ ; — "Noro." He lightly tugs at the other's cape. "You should go hunting with me." A comforting presence would prevent an episode.
He dropped the bit of food into the other’s hands. It wasn’t like he really needed it himself, and he could always get more if he wanted to. Noro nodded lightly in response to the words.
; ❀ ; — He nibbled at the food, a content hum pressing past his lips. Noro was always the one Hisoka preferred to hang out with, despite the fact that the two never really had a real conversation.
He pushes the other off of him with a hand. Maybe he shouldn’t be so nice, but … the giant offered a bit of what he had. It wasn’t much, but it was better than nothing, right?
; ❀ ; — Hisoka lets out a quiet huff at the push, staring up at the other with indignant brown eyes. A smile replaced the look after the sight of the offered piece, two small hands coming up to take it.
"Thank you,"
He tilts his head to the side. Like he’d give up his food.
; ❀ ; — Falls forehead first onto Noro's arm.
"... Please..."
Stares right back.
; ❀ ; — Slowly shuffles over to.
"Food..."
; ❀ ; — Stares. He knows you have food. He knows. And he wants some.

; ❀ ; — The scent of blood was heavy in the air. Ragged breaths were all that was heard in the red dyed alleyway, echoing lightly. A skinny figure stood in the midst of it all, corpses splattered across the walls and ground, his hands dripping with blood. Fingers smeared red across his cheeks. Brown eyes were misty with tears, the lenses that allowed them to see properly were smudged with the fluids of his victims.
"What have I become?" was whispered into the hands clasped in front of his face, the vibrant shades of disaster embedding themselves into his mind.

The aftermath of a recent episode. The smell of blood drove Hisoka crazy, the feeling of tearing someone apart and consuming them... But that wasn't what he wanted. He was quiet, he was gentle, none of the things that - when the taut rope between sane and insane snapped - Hisoka really was. The young teen refused to believe that he was bordering the lines between those two, the times he snapped growing and growing, and he feared that eventually...
That would be all that was left.
