Peter: [throwing his head on Gamora’s lap and looks up at her innocently] Gamora, tell me I’m pretty.
Gamora: [resting her hand on Peter’s cheek and smiles lovingly at him] You’re pretty fucking annoying that’s what you are.

Gamora: Tell me a strength.
Peter: I’m a decision maker.
Gamora: Excellent. How about a weakness?
Peter: I’m a bad decision maker.

I know who you are boy, because you’re me.
I burned so long and so quiet, you must have wondered if I loved you back. I did, I did, I do.Â
Night air, good conversation, and a sky full of stars can heal almost any wound.

If I have learned anything in this long life of mine, it is this: in love we find out who we want to be; in war we find out who we are.

Treasure hunting
He wasn't surprised to learn that there were alien magic users. With everything he'd seen in his life, that didn't surprise him at all. What did surprise him was the fact that a Terran could use magic. He wasn't sure he could wrap his head around that one even if the man was doing it right there in front of him. He snorted at the comment about his teachers. "Don't they just sound like the most helpful people in the universe." Seemed like no mater what planet you were on people enjoyed being cryptic. Maybe it had to do with the whole air of mystery people liked to give off to those they deemed students or what ever. He watched the map as it seemed to dance at the slightest movement of Stephens fingers.
He perked up as it came to a part he knew how to do. "Do I have a gizmo." He said with a smug smile. "Please I am Star Lord." Me started to pat his pockets, digging around for the right gadget. "Just... One sec." He finally found it buried in his bag. "In my defense... I don't use this often." He clicked it on, gave it a few whacks then held it at the door and started to gather information about what lay beyond it.He started to hum along with the music that could still just be faintly heard as the two of them worked on scanning and poking and prodding. He made a face as he looked at the data that was showing up on the screen.
"Hmm..." He brought a hand up and while his eyes flicked between the wall and the screen he moved his hand to one of the stones and then pressed it in and was rewarded with the sound of a door creaking open and a burst of wind washing over him as the door sunk in then slid to one side. "Great, this ones open." He said twirling the gadget back into his bag before pulling out his flashlight and clicking it on to loo into the dark corridor. There seemed to be a... Digital wall in front of the opening that had him puzzled. "It looks ominous... May mean it's the right way." He clicked his mask back on and looked at the thing in front of the door. "It's also got this... Barrier? It could be holding back a poisonous gas of some sort with what I'm reading..." He looked over to Stephen. "What does yours look like?"Â
“Why would you want to save the galaxy?!” “Cause I’m one of the idiots who lives in it!”
