so me and one of my coworkers were talking about movies and i mentioned how i had just rewatched the lost boys. he had never seen it and didnt know what it was about so i told him its an 80s vampire movie. he then proceeds to tell me there was this one movie his mom loves but he couldn’t remember the name of it. so naturally, i asked him to describe it to me. he goes “oh yeah it’s like a vampire movie i think and its a musical and very popular amongst the gay community.” i had no idea wtf this man is talking about. we spent probably 15 minutes (while we’re at actively working) trying to figure out what fucking movie he’s talking about. i literally texted and tried to call one of my friends ( @anotherlesbiandied ) to figure it out. after like twenty minutes i was like “okay is there any other way to explain this movie?” and he was like “idk i think it’s a musical and it’s kinda weird and one of them is in drag.” and i just. stared at him for a while. he was talking about the rocky horror picture show. he thought there were vampires.

so i've had quite a few anons asking for updates on my nose piercing and the pain/healing so i figured i'd just make a post :)

in terms of getting it pierced, it was genuinely a 1/10 pain for me but i do have a high pain tolerance and the piercer was surprised because i barely reacted so i'm not the best person to ask, i would recommend checking tiktok for a variety of experiences 🫶

for healing, i've had it for exactly a week now and it's been so chill. no pain whatsoever, although i imagine that's specific to my individual experience and when i researched before getting it i saw lots of people struggling with the healing so maybe i've just gotten lucky haha!

going off my specific experience i would 100% get this again and again in every lifetime, i feel like it boosted my confidence a lot and i look so good with it and with the nonexistent pain, definitely worth it!

i love reading other people’s stories of getting their nose/septum pierced. i passed out when i got mine and they thought for a second i was having a seizure. but it didn’t hurt that bad 😃
