Cheer Practice || Quinn & ____
"Alright everybody, so I'm Quinn and I'm the new Captain!" Quinn beamed at the group of girls. "Any questions?"
“Of course!” Quinn smiled genuinely before taking her wallet out of her own purse and calling over a waitress. “Can I get two servings of curly fries please?” She asked, watching the waitress scribble down the order in her little notebook. “Anything else?” Quinn asked Courtney.
“Ice tea,” Courtney replied, flashing the waitress an overly sweet smile before looking back at Quinn. “Thank you for paying.” The words were as sugary as they could possibly be, but hollow at the same time.
"It's my pleasure." Quinn smiled back. "So, what do you do for fun around here?"
“Hi there. Excuse me? Can I help you?”
"Oh, I was just having a look at the specials board." Quinn smiled. "I'm a bit undecided on whether to choose the roast chicken panini or the caesar salad."
ooc:
i'm back from holiday (early) so my hiatus has officially ended! :-)
Recovery || Quinn & Declan
Quinn looked down at her hand which was still being held by Declan and decided it was time to make her move. She moved closer to Declan and planted her lips on his, but to her surprise he didn’t kiss back.
Declan pulled away gently before biting his lip “I didn’t know that you felt that way toward me…” He said as his cheeks got red “I am so sorry if I lead you on..” He said looking down “But I have a girlfriend and I love her, I am so sorry”
"Oh I uh, I see." Quinn said, stuttering. "Well I um, I'm going to go in the shower okay?" She added, changing the subject.
Recovery || Quinn & Declan
Quinn smiled at her friend, and although she tried to stop it she was beginning to have feelings for Declan. “It’s so sweet that you’d do anything for me, Declan.” She said, sitting beside him on the bed.
Declan smiled and squeezed her hand as she sat down by his side “I am just treating you as you deserve to be treated” He said with a small smile “You are a great girl, so you deserve my sweetness” He smiled.

Whispers in the Dark || Quinn
Quinn was about to walk out of the Brew when she noticed the new sculpture in the middle of the coffee shop. "Interesting..." Quinn pondered to herself before confidently striding to the bubble and flicking it onto record. "Hello, I'm an 18 year old girl and already I have lost a child and been shot twice by my father." Quinn began, her voice shaking. "And not only that but now, now I have something even bigger that I can't deal with right now. And I suppose that it'll feel better once I get it off my chest so here goes... I think I have feelings for more than one person. And I don't know how either of them will react if they find out."
"Thank you" Quinn smiled as Spencer handed her the ice chips. "And you don’t have to say anything, it’s just nice to have the company." She smiled sincerely before tipping a few ice chips into her mouth.
Spencer smiled, “You’re welcome,” she said, walking over and sitting down in the chair next to the bed, “You want to watch anything on tv?” she asked, handing the blond the remote.
"There's nothing to watch really, I've pretty much memorised the daytime TV schedule and after Ellen finishes there's nothing good to watch." Quinn laughed before placing the remote back into Spencer's hand.
"What was that. I couldn’t hear you. The flames and music are too loud. I hope it wasn’t anything important"!
"Oh um, it doesn't matter." Quinn laughed shyly. "My name is Quinn, it's nice to meet you!" She half-yelled over the noise of the party. "And you are?"
Recovery || Quinn & Declan
"Thank you Declan, honestly it means a lot what you’ve done for me." Quinn smiled, briefly looking at the ground.
Declan walked toward the bed and sat down on the edge “Of course, you are important to me and I would do anything to the ones that I care about” He smiled.
Quinn smiled at her friend, and although she tried to stop it she was beginning to have feelings for Declan. "It's so sweet that you'd do anything for me, Declan." She said, sitting beside him on the bed.
Recovery || Quinn & Declan
"I’m feeling much better, thank you for asking." Quinn smiled as ____ helped her through the door to her new hotel room where she’d be staying until she found something more permanent. "You really didn’t have to follow me up here, I’m perfectly fine!"
“Of course” He smiled as he got in the hotel room with her “Are you kidding me? After what happened, I certeanely did have to come with you up here, I don’t want to risk it” He said crossing his arms.
"Thank you Declan, honestly it means a lot what you’ve done for me." Quinn smiled, briefly looking at the ground.
“Don’t worry about it.” Quinn smiled weakly at Spencer. “I’m alright, I’m completely better in terms of physical pain, but the grief is still hurting me pretty bad.” She shrugged. “I suppose you could get me some ice chips or something if you don’t mind.”
Spencer smiled and walked across the room, “I’m glad you’re feeling better,” she filled a small cup with ice chips and carried it back to the bed, “I can’t imagine the grief you must be feeling.” The brunette shook her head, “I don’t even know what to say.”
"Thank you" Quinn smiled as Spencer handed her the ice chips. "And you don't have to say anything, it's just nice to have the company." She smiled sincerely before tipping a few ice chips into her mouth.
“That’s terrible,” Audrey frowned, then her eyes widened as she continued. “What a bunch of two-faced hypocrites!” She gasped, anger bubbling beneath her surface. “I can’t believe they’d do that to you, honestly!”
“Tell me about it.” Quinn said before rolling her eyes playfully. “None of them have even called to see if I’m doing alright, how pathetic is that?”
“People like that absolutely mystify me, I mean, how can they live with themselves?”
"I'm not sure how they manage it, but somehow they do." Quinn sighed.

Spencer quickly regretted her attitude as she turned back to the blonde, “I am terribly sorry,” she said, running her hands through her hair before she planted on a small smile. The brunette took a deep breath, “Anyway, are you alright? Is there anything I can do to help you?” she asked calmly.
“Don’t worry about it.” Quinn smiled weakly at Spencer. “I’m alright, I’m completely better in terms of physical pain, but the grief is still hurting me pretty bad.” She shrugged. “I suppose you could get me some ice chips or something if you don’t mind.”
"Oh yeah, um. Just a stitch." Quinn smiled, the pain still searing through her stomach like a bitch. "I’ll be good for cheerleading in no time at all!"
“’kay.” Courtney shrugged and walked into the Grille with the other girl in tow, briefly looking around until she spotted a small, free table. “Over there.” She gestured towardst the table, made sure Quinn was following and then sat down on one of the chairs, putting her purse next to her. “So since I let you have my spot on the cheerleading team, can I count on you paying for my fries?”
“Of course!” Quinn smiled genuinely before taking her wallet out of her own purse and calling over a waitress. “Can I get two servings of curly fries please?” She asked, watching the waitress scribble down the order in her little notebook. “Anything else?” Quinn asked Courtney.
“Sometimes I’ll think about that rule as well,” Audrey admitted, “but I keep reminding myself that the first one is much more positive and helpful.” She smiled at her, “unfortunately some people are just like that, no matter the situation the person’s in.”
“Trust me, back in New York I don’t think I had one friend who was there for me one hundred percent. In fact almost all of them pretended like they didn’t know me when I told them all that I was pregnant.” Quinn shook her head. “Yet I stood by each and every one of them whenever they had to take an “emergency” trip to the abortion clinic due to dodgy hook ups after house parties and one time flings behind the bleachers after a big game.”
“That’s terrible,” Audrey frowned, then her eyes widened as she continued. “What a bunch of two-faced hypocrites!” She gasped, anger bubbling beneath her surface. “I can’t believe they’d do that to you, honestly!”
