this was one of my first lo-fi zines. at the time, I was feeling alienated from trans media that talked about identity as a peppy, hero's journey of individual expression. I wanted to make art about the shit that pissed me off, about the friction of being gender nonconforming. I'm working on trans pessimism #3 , which like the others is an attempt to counteract the neoliberal identity politics that sometimes holds us back. check out the previous issues if any of that sounds interesting!
