Sam felt Quinnâs eyes on him as he worked on the dough. It was easier to continue what he was doing than to look at her. Once, he did he knew heâd see her green eyes and turn to mush. Even after all these years she held so much power over him when she wanted to. âItâs your grandmotherâs recipe,â he offered softly wanting to maybe win some brownie points before they continue their conversation.
Internally, Sam groaned seeing Quinnâs nose wrinkled, his shoulders tensing up. âBecause,â he reasoned. It was an awful comeback but why couldnât they just do their wedding the traditional way? âI dunno itâs just how I always pictured it. All our friends will walk down the aisle first. Then Aria and then you. And youâll look perfect and amazing and yeah.â He really didnât have a good reason for his strong stance on this issue. It just felt like what they were supposed to do.
Sam sighed when Quinn made her points because they were good ones. âYeah I guess,â he said softly trying not to pout. âIf we did it your way, itâd be like a sneak peek? Like nobody else would be there?â he asked raising and eyebrow. âBesides the photographer, because duh,â he added. That part of it intrigued him. âThat could be coolâŚAnd we could do pictures with Aria?âÂ
âOf course it is my grandmotherâs recipe,â she teased lightly because it was usually always her grandmotherâs recipe. There was no one that could cook quite like her grandmother but Sam was learning the ways. Lucky for him and herself both as Quinn knew her talents laid far beyond the kitchen. Boiling water was about all she could do in the kitchen. Thankfully there was something about a man that could cook...
Quinn chewed on her lip a moment to keep herself but listing off a million reasons why they should and maybe should do things her way. It wasnât like they did a lot of things Samâs way because typically, they didnât. She had told herself time and time again she would not be that person but who was she kidding, Quinn Fabray was used to getting things exactly how she wanted. Could she relent this time?
âWe donât have to,â she finally relented because she really had made most of the decisions when it came to their wedding. âThatâs the idea,â Quinn told him quietly. It would be just the two of them and Aria if they wished it. âI mean if you want to cry like a baby in front of all our family and friends I wonât stop you either.â
