Lucy Quinn Fabray. Just call me Quinn; Miami native and best known as Wendy Darling at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. You can also find me at the Main Street Confectionery when I'm not causing a ruckus in Never Land with Peter Pan. Who which, by the way, is way better than Prince Charming.
Topher: Okay, yes we really are. You're welcome, I'm glad you can, Q. Okay good, I'm glad she won't rush you. No, and you don't have to be, but you'll get there, I'm sure of it. I really am. :) I would love one, are you should about coming over now?
Quinn: Yes. Thank you Toph, especially for your faith in me. No, or she doesn't seem like she will anyway. If you ever wanted to come with... you could. You're right, and I really hope so-- I want to beat this. Good. :) I'm positive. I'll be there soon, promise.
Topher: I'm the lucky one actually. I can only imagine it has been long. I'm glad she was, and you feel comfortable there? Really? Well, just take it slowly okay? Only if you start to feel more comfortable? I'm doing well, thank you Quinn. :) Just missing you.
Quinn: We both are then. It really has... thank you though, and yeah-- or at least as comfortable as I can feel there, I guess. I promise I will, Toph... yeah, she said I didn't have to rush it or anything. But I'm not ready for that yet. You're welcome, cutie; I'm glad you are. :) I miss you too. Want a late night visitor?
Topher: And you're the only one I want to be doing that. Are you? Wait, you did? That's great news babe. How did it go?
Quinn: I am a very lucky lady for that. Yeah... just had a long day I guess. Yes I did-- it went alright, she seemed nice. They want me to start doing group counseling after a few sessions... I'm nervous about that. How are you though, babe?
No sooner did she try to push past him did Quinn have a dizzy spell and stumble into the wall. Topher was faster, there to catch and support her, making sure she didn’t collapse to the ground. “I’ve got you,” he whispered and helped Quinn to the couch slowly, taking great care with her. She tried to tell him she was fine but Topher saw right through that, refusing to leave her alone and noticing right away how her body was reacting to everything. Despite attempts to brush it off, she knew it was impossible to hide and reluctantly at first rested her head on his shoulder. Deeper breaths seemed to calm her a bit, and as he helped her to lean back into the comfort of the cushions, she began to speak honestly and openly with him. As he listened, she explained in measured breaths how she’d had issues in the past, but now she was unable to stop.” As she looked into his eyes, she began to crumble again, and the tears flowed as she admitted she never wanted him to know, but that it was too late. Topher just wrapped his arms around her even tighter and held Quinn against him. “Hey there, it’ll be okay,” he spoke in soothing tones. “Nothing is too late, we’re in this together. You don’t owe me or anybody else an apology.” Placing a kiss on her forehead, he continued. “You’re not alone now, and I’m not going anywhere. There is nobody better than you, you’ll beat this. I promise you.”
QUINN:
Quinn still wished she could go back in time; even as Topher tried to assuage her with his comforting words and gentle touch, she felt ashamed. “I’m such a mess,” she strangled out between sobs, now burying her face into his shoulder and the side of his neck, feeling guilty about the salty tears as they stung his skin. The closer he held her the more Quinn began to calm a little however, she snuggling at the press of his lips to her forehead so lovingly. She still was shaking, but less rapidly now, and her own fragile arms round about his frame whilst she drank in every promise– every encouraging word. Topher assured she could beat this, and someone having faith in her was a huge gap she’d needed filled. Quinn feared she couldn’t do it alone; yet, her boyfriend was promising she wouldn’t have to - that he was there for her and that they were in it together, his sincerity bringing her some relief. “I just want to be better for you,” she cracked, voice fairly gone from the crying, but she whispered it into his ear when Topher promised there was no one better. Quinn wasn’t entirely sure she believed it, but knowing he thought so was enough. “Thank you, Toph,” she murmured, letting her glassy gaze raise to meet his and then leaving a tender press right along his jaw. “If I have you, I believe I can get through anything. I was just so afraid of losing you…” she trailed, clinging to him in a tight hug as emotions threatened to tumble over again. “Please help me. I just really need you. Now and always.”

TOPHER:
She tried to pass it off as having an upset stomach from the pizza, but he wasn’t going to just accept that as the reason. Putting his arms around her, Topher was trying to show how much he cared about her before he called her out on it, this was done out of concern for her and wanting her to be healthy, but he feared she might take it the wrong way. When he’d come out and suggested she might have a problem, that was exactly how it was received, Quinn turned almost immediately on him, pulling away from his embrace and again tried to play it off that it was no big deal, just an upset stomach. “I know they do, but we both know there’s more to it now.” His tone wasn’t accusatory, but concerned. She snapped back that she didn’t like being to be told she had a problem, and quickly attempted to leave. A little too quickly though, because a couple of steps towards his front door and Quinn was suddenly very shaky on her feet and reaching for the wall to hang onto herself. Topher pulled forward and caught her as she mumbled that she was fine, wrapping his arms back around her again and very slowly walking her over to the couch. “I know you are,” he whispered, just focused on getting her off of her feet right now. Sinking to the couch along with her, Topher continued to hang onto her. She felt a little weak and shaky still, so with an arm still around her shoulders he swept Quinn’s bangs away from her face and placed his hand to her forehead. She was a little clammy, and it prompted him to help her lean back into the cushions. “How do you feel now, babe?” he questioned, letting her place her head on his shoulder now. “You know all I want is for you to be healthy and feel good, right?” He hoped she might be a little more open to admitting to her issues now, and that she wouldn’t still want to leave as soon as she felt better.
QUINN:
Immediately Quinn regretted lying to Topher, and it seemed her body was catching up with her words as the attempt to escape left the blonde nearly clinging to the wall to keep her shaky frame from falling. The dizziness overwhelmed her, but she was so afraid that the damage was already done. Why on earth would Topher want damaged goods when he could be with any other women - one that didn't give him complications like she had from the get-go? Mumbling that she was fine, Topher agreed most likely to coerce her over to the couch, where he carefully helped her settle more comfortably. Quinn tried to hide how miserable she felt, but the way her body trembled and her face grew rather flush seemed to give her away. Breathing deeply now, she tentatively rested her head on his shoulder, the smoothness of her boyfriend's hand against her warm skin relaxing Quinn a little more. "I know," she choked out sincerely, closing her eyes as she leaned into him a little more. "I do too, I just... had issues before and I can't seem to stop. I went from one extreme to another... I just want to feel good about myself, and I finally started to when you wanted me," her voice shook slightly at the confession, but hazel eyes finally peeled back to meet his blue ones. "By then it was too late, Toph. I just... I don't know what to do, but you deserve better than this-- better than me. I never wanted you to know. I'm sorry." The floodgates had opened now, and tears cascaded, cooling pink cheeks. "That's why I was trying to go. To rid you of the burden-- of me."

TOPHER:
As good as things were going for them now, Topher worried about Quinn with each time it seemed like she was purposely not eating that much. It was becoming more obvious that her clothes were fitting looser than before, and by no means were they tight on her to begin with. Pizza this afternoon at his place had been a good idea, at leas so he thought, but not long after they had settled into a movie on the couch she was getting up to excuse herself and use the bathroom. A little curious and worried, he approached the bathroom door quietly and listened; what he heard had him even more worried about her. He was hopelessly wrapped up with the girl and wanted her to stay healthy and feel good, but if there were issues at play here then it was pretty clear she was simply not. He wasn’t totally sure how to handle this, but fate stepped in and decided to handle it for him as she suddenly opened the door and came face to face with him. Quinn’s face was a little flushed, it was fairly obvious she’d splashed water on it to try and hide the fact and look a little fresher. Her lovely hazel eyes were widened in surprise at his presence but she tried to play it off, asking if everything was okay, his reply back to her was quiet but abrupt. It still didn’t seem to stop her from trying to hide things, telling him her stomach was a little off from the grease of the pizza. She wasn’t going to make this easy at all, he was going to have to drag it out of her. “Sure, we can get back it in a minute, but I want to talk to you first, Q.” He wasn’t going to let her avoid it completely, and Topher slowly put his arms around Quinn, drawing her into a hug. No matter how this went, he needed her to know that he’d be by her side through all of it, and that he was only doing this out of concern for her. “I know what’s going on, Quinn. At least… I think I do.” Resting the side of his head against her temple, he sighed gently. “I think maybe you have a problem.”
QUINN:
Even Quinn was worried about herself, something that was rare for her, but she wouldn’t admit it outloud because that would mean she was accepting that something was wrong. Not at all had she expected Topher to be at the door; she didn’t know how much he’d heard, but she could always blame the vomiting on greasy food– he needn’t know about the dizzy spells, lightheadedness and chills. Attempting to diffuse the situation with an assurance that it was just the pizza, Quinn was caught off guard when Topher didn’t back down and instead insisted that they talk before going back to enjoy the movie still flickering across the television. “Oh?” she asked softly and innocently, still hoping to play clueless to what he was implicating. As strong arms wrapped about her frame and Topher confessed that he believed to know what was going on, the blonde struggled with how to react. On the one hand she wanted to cave - to finally just surrender and get this weight off her shoulders. Maybe he would be willing to help, but what if instead he just didn’t want her anymore because if it? Hazel eyes brimming with tears now, Quinn squeezed them shut, attempting to hold them back as his head rested against hers and Topher hugged her tightly. Gently she reciprocated the embrace, but his choice of words snapped something within her; not yet was she fully ready to accept her fate. Drawing back from him almost hastily, the girl let out a scoff, indicating that her boyfriend had no idea what he was talking about. “What? Um, everyone has indigestion sometimes; it’s not a big deal, Toph.” Now she was outright lying, and she couldn’t even meet his eyes or she’d completely give herself away. “I don’t like being told I have a problem,” she quipped back slightly angry now, ready to flee because she didn’t know how else to deal with this. Him finding out was her worst nightmare come true, but as Quinn twisted to grab her purse and head toward the door, another bout of weakness hit her and she had no choice but to catch herself with the wall, a shaky palm flattening to keep her balance whilst she tried to muddle through the dizziness. “I’m fine,” she mumbled weakly– so much that she didn’t even convince herself this time.
Things were even better than Topher ever expected them to be, now that he and Quinn were dating. For months they’d stayed close to one another, but there always seemed to be a mental block keeping them apart. She’d pegged him as a notorious flirt and womanizer from the beginning, and while he did have his moments in the past, the day he met Quinn was the day that changed his priorities. Once she’d finally let him in, they became more inseparable than ever. Working together at the park, you’d have thought that it might be a little smothering but they found it the opposite… the more time together the better. One was always over at the other’s place in the evenings, and though they hadn’t taken that full step into intimacy yet, there were nights where they’d stay overnight and sleep innocently together. Maybe that’s why Topher began to notice subtle things that worried him. Quinn was always excusing herself just after dinner or eating, and even though she looked amazing at all times, it seemed like there were times where she felt a little warm and flushed. He also could swear she was shrinking, losing a little bit of weight even though she wasn’t on a diet and ate normally. Quinn certainly didn’t need to lose any pounds at all, she was already skinny and fit as it was. But he didn’t know how to bring up any of these concerns to her in a relationship that was so new to both of them. They’d worked so hard to get to this comfortable point where she trusted him that Topher didn’t want to screw it up; yet he was left with the nagging voice in the back of his mind quite a lot lately. Deciding to try and get a few answers on his own, with Quinn unaware he began to watch her a little more closely. Today she’d come over to his apartment early, they both had Sunday off for a chance to relax and spend the day just lounging around. Pizza had been the choice for lunch, and to his interest Quinn had eaten a few pieces, her appetite seemed to be okay. But as they moved to the couch to watch a movie, it wasn’t long at all before she excused herself to the bathroom. This got him worried, and quietly he followed her a minute or two later, putting his ear to the bathroom door. The sound of her gagging, bringing up food alarmed him right away… she hadn’t told him she felt ill. Waiting for her to leave the bathroom, Quinn opened the door to a concerned looking boyfriend and tried to play it off coolly, wondering if everything was okay. It was clear he’d caught her by surprise. “You tell me. Are you feeling okay, Quinn?”
QUINN:
Quinn absolutely hated who she was becoming; she was obsessed with her weight and the way she looked. Many times she felt awful, but hoped it was worth it to look ideal, and that Topher wouldn’t notice the way she’d tremble from time to time, or how much weight she had been dropping. Yet, she couldn’t seem to stop - anything and everything upset her stomach, like it was too full - and as soon as she had the chance she craved the feeling of emptiness again. Most of the time especially at her own place she could get away with this, but the closer she and her boyfriend had become, the harder it was to hide. She loathed herself for letting this put a barrier between them intimately. Quinn was angry at herself for not being truthful with him; she had turned into the lovesick woman she promised never to be, but the simple truth was that she was head over heels for Topher. Would he still want her though if he realized just how damaged she was? Quinn thought so; she knew him well enough by now, but there was always the worry that he might not. She’d been difficult enough to let him in, and this could only cause her to push him right out again. The truth was though, she was too far gone now, and only help could fix her. Subtly she took route to the restroom and attempted to empty her stomach the quietest way she could possibly manage, but once she was done and freshened up again, the swing of the restroom door open had her face to face with her boyfriend. The look on his face made her wonder what he had heard, but as he asked if she was okay, the blonde tried to hide it all. Barely able to meet his eyes, the sincere blueness of his had hazel orbs balking, directing their attention downward as he pressed her further. She despised lying to him; at least before she could do her business with no questions asked... it seemed that she was less direct than being blatantly dishonest. Now though, Quinn leaned back against the door frame, darting her eyes in another direction as she clutched her stomach a little. “Yeah, I guess the grease just got to me or something,” she lied, her small frame cringing just as the fib slipped out so easily. “I’ll be okay though, alright? Wanna get back to that movie?” she asked, trying to push past him and deflect the topic.

QUINN:
Why was she still doing this? Quinn wished she had an answer. For a long time she had struggled with anorexia, because she felt the constant pressure to make herself better. What was better than being slim? It was a sickness really, one she had battled longer than she wanted to admit, the blonde barely getting by with the smallest scraps she could live off of. Now that she was happy with Topher and feeling better and more beautiful than even, Quinn couldn’t fathom how things had taken the opposite turn-- or a different one that was no better than the last, depending on how you looked at it. She was afraid her boyfriend of several months now might start to catch on, so little by little she crammed more into her mouth, but her body rejected it all nearly immediately, not used to being so overwhelmed. She’d binge eat, hoping he wouldn’t question anything and just assume she was naturally that thin despite all of the supposed gluttony. Part of the reason she hadn’t been completely intimate with him was solely for that reason-- it certainly had nothing to do with lack of interest, but merely the toll her eating problems had taken on her body. Sunday afternoon was a day off for them both, and as Quinn lingered at his place and indulged on greasy pizza that she already worried would go straight to her thighs, she waited until Topher became engrossed in a movie before excusing herself to the restroom. Feeling a little sick and wanting to immediately rid herself of what she feared might make her gain a pound or two (even though at this point she had dwindled down enough that gaining was necessary), Quinn raised the toilet seat and tied her hair back before expertly thrusting her finger back into her throat. It was just like routine now-- she hated the way she felt after, and how she was hiding this from everyone, especially her boyfriend. Quinn wasn’t ready to admit though that she needed help, and for a brief moment as the contents of her stomach left her, she felt satisfied. Trying to remain quiet, Quinn quickly flushed it all down and fished the toothbrush and other feminine supplies she kept in the small bag inside Topher’s medicine cabinet out, being sure to meticulously brush her teeth and rinse thoroughly with mouthwash, hoping to get rid of all the signs before joining him back onto the couch. She was hating herself even more these days. Shaking slightly as she always did after vomiting, Quinn pulled the door open, her eyes widening a little and she trying to play it off coolly as she was met with Topher’s bright blue ones on the other side. “Everything okay, baby?” she tried.
Topher: Lucky both of us actually. And I'm more than happy to collect. ;) Oh yeah. I'm totally up for that, I can be over to see you in a little bit actually.
Topher: I'm so happy for you, and yes I would love to! You really want my opinion?
