Hello lovely friends, it's Show and Tell Saturday! My social media has closely followed the Artemis II, so I've been enjoying all the new space knowledge I have now. What's new in your world this week?

Tried block printing on fabric for the first time! Made some patches and decorated a faded (also screen printed) tshirt. Still have to test other paints/colors/fabrics tomorrow.

It’s finally done!! My actual burnt zine about Aline (& Verso). Really happy with how the gold 'craquelure' and individual pages turned out. Perhaps less happy with my alignment of the pages lol.

I had a really fun time doing this, although it was definitely more work than originally anticipated (about 12 hours total, of which a bit more than half was physically putting the zine together). That said, if I made another one I could probably do it in 3-4 hours. And if I had a cricut, I could do it in 2.

My one regret about this is that due to the nature of, you know, burning things, a lot of the text I wrote became totally illegible. I might just post the original pages as a PDF.

...Now I have a lot of scrap frames, burnt paper flakes, used tape strewn around my workspace that I gotta clean up. Hahaha.
