Hi, I know this account has been inactive for 3 years, but I had a question and I'm not sure where to turn to:

I was looking through the notifications settings, and noticed there was a setting for "Account Logins"

Does this mean I will get a notification when someone I follow logs in? Or is it just used to track my own personal logins. Or is it both?

You should get a notification on your device or emailed to you, depending on your settings, about any and all logins to your account. This includes you, anyone you give your info to and anyone trying to hack you. It won't tell you anything except the country of origin and when it occurred.

After enabling Account Logins in Notifications, In Settings under Account, you can find the whole list of logins under Recent Logins. It will only show you logins from the time you enabled Account Logins, so keep that in mind. It can't tell you logins from before it was enabled.

If you login right now, you'll receive an email or notification that someone from [Your Country] just logged in. That's you! It's to notify you of anyone on your account that shouldn't be, so you can change your password and two-factor authentication if you have it enabled. It will not notify you of logins from accounts you follow.

Absolutely nothing. Your password can’t be reset without your email. If you remember the password, however, you can use your url to login.

Hello, my Quotev hasn't been working for about two weeks now. I'm assuming it may be because of the recent update, but it only happens on Google Chrome on my PC. It works on both my phone and in an incognito tab, but on normal Google Chrome it'll seem to load for a second before just pulling up a blank, black screen; no text or anything. I looked up advice but there doesn't seem to be anything on this. I tried clearing my cache and cookies, but it did nothing. Do you have any advice?

I’ve never heard of anything like this before. That’s... really strange? This is late, so has it resolved itself or are you still experiencing the issue?

Hello there! Um, my friend and I are trying to write a book together on Q, and we do want to publish it...but we also don't want people to see it. Is there any way that we can publish this book without anybody being able to see it or search for it?

I mean,, kind of?? There's a private option under advanced settings. You can also make it anonymous so your profile won't appear on it and it won't show up on your profile itself, either. This will make it virtually impossible for anyone to read it. You could also just write it in Google Docs together or something and post it when it's finished?? If you guys are just trying to be able to write it in the same place.

Hello, one of my inactive groups had been deleted out of nowhere. I didn't delete it and it had no activity for around 6-8 months. Is there any reason for this?

I’ve never heard of that happening, but I suppose it makes sense if it was inactive. I’m sure the servers are getting full again so Q is going around deleting unnecessary/inactive things. I’m sorry about that, though!

If you look in twitter many, MANY other people are having trouble as well! A few have suggested that its doing an update without giving everyone a notification for some horrible reason. I’m honestly really worried, Quotev isn’t working. All I could get to was the chat and I went off my account to see if it was the same for my other accounts and now I can’t even make a new account! I’ve tried with my phone, DS, and Laptop but nothing is working. This is a little late because I didn't get any notifications for the anons I received, but this can be for future reference. Quotev updates like any other website, it has to to keep it running smoothly and to cater to the admins' needs and wants. Give it some time. If the problem persists for over a day, then message me for assistance. Don't wait 10 minutes and then come panicking because you believe your account is gone for good. Take the time it needs to update to do something offline. It's not healthy to spend 9 hours a day on there and it's not healthy to depend on it (or the people on there) for everything. Take care of yourself - take a shower, eat something, drink a bottle of water, or take a walk in the sun - and when you come back, the website will most likely be up and running again.

The friends I have met on there are unlike anyone else. I love them more than anyone else. But, one day, I logged into Quotev. My account was logged out, so I obviously tried to log back in.
