وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Oh Lord, choose for me what you see is good for me.

عشر ذي الحجه أيامٌ فاضلةٌ، وأوقاتٌ مباركةٌ، فاقدروها حقَّ قدرها، وعظِّموا شعائر الله فيها؛ فإنَّ تعظيمها مِن تعظيمِ الله، {ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ} [الحج: 32].

These are noble days and blessed times, so appreciate them for what they are and honor the rituals of Allah during them; for honoring them is part of honoring Allah:{That is so whoever honour God’s rites show the piety of their hearts}

عن ابن مسعود -رضي الله عنه قال رسول الله صل الله وعليه وسلم-: «ألا أخبركم بمن يحرم على النار؟ أو بمن تحرم عليه النار؟ تحرم على كل قريب هَيِّنٍ لَيِّنٍ سَهِل قَرِيِبْ مّنَ اَلَنَاَسْ.

Ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform of whom Hellfire is forbidden for? Or he is forbidden for Hellfire? It is forbidden for someone who is accessible, lenient, tender, and easy to get along with.

الصلاة Prayer

قال رسول الله ﷺ ( إِنَّ الْعَهْدَ الَّذِي بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمِ الصَّلَاةُ، ‏فَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا فَقَدْ كَفر).

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The covenant that stands between us and them is the Salah (prayer); whoever abandons it, he has committed disbelief.'"

 قال رسول الله ﷺ : ( أَقْرَبُ مَا ‏يَكُونُ الْعَبْدُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ، فَأَكْثِرُوا الدُّعَاءَ).

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A slave becomes nearest to his lord when he is in prostration. So increase supplications while prostrating."

قال رسول الله ﷺ :‏ ‏ "‏إن أول ما يحاسب به العبد يوم القيامة من عمله صلاته، فإن صلحت، فقد أفلح وأنجح، وإن فسدت، فقد خاب وخسر، فإن انتقص من فريضته شيئًا، قال الرب، عز وجل‏:‏ انظروا هل لعبدي من تطوع، فيكمل منها ما انتقص من الفريضة‏؟‏ ثم يكون سائر أعماله على هذا‏"‏ ‏

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The first of man's deeds for which he will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be Salat. If it is found to be perfect, he will be safe and successful; but if it is incomplete, he will be unfortunate and a loser. If any shortcoming is found in the obligatory Salat, the Glorious and Exalted Rubb will command to see whether His slave has offered any voluntary Salat so that the obligatory Salat may be made up by it. Then the rest of his actions will be treated in the same manner."
