Let's fix this.
You guys, there is something going on that actually really scares me. I'm genuinely terrified that Donald Trump could be our next president. Anyone with a rational mind can see that Donald Trump is an obnoxious man-child. However, what really scares me is the insane amount of supporters he has. He has become a mouthpiece for the worst people in America. You know, when he first decided to run for president, I thought to myself "maybe?". Not that I ever would've voted for him, but I could maybe see how others would. He is a successful businessman and maybe that's the kind of person we need running this country. But then something changed. He is a smart man. He realized that our country is full of racists and sexists. I knew that too but what I didn't know is just how many there are (I know there's something about my white privilege in here, but we'll cover that another time). Apparently there are enough to make Trump the Republican front runner. It's like a whole group of people who were keeping quiet about all the hate they have toward people who have a skin color other than white or a religion that isn't Christian have now been given to green light to be loud and proud in their bigotry. Trump has made this ok. Even if you support his political ideas, how can anyone as a decent human being be ok with having a man in charge of our country who pretty blatantly hates anyone who isn't white? How can any woman support him knowing how he talks about women he doesn't like? How can a man who decided not to go to a debate because of the moderator possibly run this country? What will he do when another world leader doesn't agree with him? It's gotten to the point that I'm actually planning on moving to Canada if he gets elected because I truly believe that he would put our country in great danger. His supporters don't seem to see how dangerous he is...and that is terrifying in and of itself. The silver lining to this whole Trump thing? This has opened my eyes so much in regards to how many horrible people are in this country. We need to do whatever we can to fix this. ✌🏼❤️🕉
