Happy birthday to the National Health Service: the greatest creation and achievement of the Labour movement! It’s been amazing to celebrate it’s 70th with my fellow Hands Off HRI comrades, with cakes, a huge birthday card and some top notch dancing outside Huddersfield Train Station! I met the man himself today! He showed his support to us Young Members by committing to attend the #livingwagebill debate in parliament on July 8th and announced that all paid Labour Party staff will be paid a minimum of £10 an hour! What an absolute lad #gmb18 (at Brighton Centre)

Well, we did it folks... VICTORY!!! Hands off HRI have been granted their judicial review after two years of hard fought campaigning! The atmosphere at the courts today was ecstatic as the skies of the hospital’s future look brighter.
