at first, going alone seemed intimidating but she would survive. but now that she was here, she wished she brought someone with her. it’s not like she really talked to people here. honestly, she didn’t even talk to the hostess very much. but she was going t grin and bear it, take pictures to put up on instagram. bubbles will make it work, she knew she would. “well, you certainly did that.” everyone around her looked like they were having fun. but then her sisters came up. the truth was blossom had a test the next day and buttercup, a grudge holder, didn’t want to go at all. but it would be impolite to say.

“they didn’t feel very well. i think it’s the flu but professor won’t say. they said they’re really sorry for not coming.”

“Pity. I thought we would all hangout for old times sake.” Not that the four were ever best friends or anything. As a matter of fact, they weren’t even friends. They were just four well known girls in this small town they all loved to call home.

“We’re all on better terms now, right? After all, I haven’t been this city’s worst villain. I haven’t been one in years.” Forced retirement wasn’t a pretty look on her but it worked wonders for her family’s name. It wasn’t as being a villain-ess was her primary intention, it was just how things turned out over time. “Send your sisters my best wishes. We wouldn’t want Townsville’s heroines to be down in numbers for too long, who knows what kind of horrors can occur when you’re not looking.”

she was actually excited to go to a morebucks event. it was good publicity for the powerpuffs and events were always fun for her. but she was a little bit nervous to knock into princess, especially since bubbles came by herself. that didn’t mean she was going to be rude to her at all. she smiled and tucked some loose hair behind her ear. “i am, actually. it’s really a great event. thank you for inviting me.” though she didn’t even know if princess or her dad invited her. “how are you doing tonight?” bubbles, honestly, didn’t know what else to say.

“I’m doing fine, and of course, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t have the honored guests.” Princess stated with the smile she had practice to perfection when it came to the citizens of this town. By extension, it did include the heroines. “I’m glad you’re enjoying it, we made sure to go over the top for everyone to enjoy.” It was quite stunning over how the simple people of Townsville enjoyed the life of the riches when it was free for them. She suppose even the poor enjoyed feeling rich, even if it was for a small moment.

“Speaking of guests, I don’t see your sisters. Did they choose to opt out?”
