Oshikatsu DIYs and Crafts ~
Will add onto a bunch! Feel free to respond with your own in reblogs :)))
A rosette is a rose-shaped deco! Its mostly made with ribbons and fabrics! In oshikatsu, the center is usually made for a pin to sit nicely!
Rosettes are easy to make!
You don't even have to know how to sew! (*ᵔᢦᵔ*)

Uchiwa Fans + Picket Fans!
Uchiwa Fans are a Japanese hand fan! In Oshikatsu, fans deco them with their oshi! Usually also with ribbons, gems, bows, charms, etc.
Picket Fans are similar in that they're a similar shape and can be decorated to support your oshi! (The term "picket fan" is mostly used by K-pop fans! Very close family I would say!)
My little piece of advice for these is if you make them totally DIY, make sure your handle is strong and your decorations won't fall of!

Standees are an acrylic display of a character! Its a very common form of merch! You can buy custom standees using certain websites like VoGrace, Wooacry, etc.
To DIY a standee, you can make it out of cardboard, or really anything on hand! Most of these do cardboard or paper! Thankies again to K-pop stands with their tutorials!

Pins/Buttons come in all shapes and sizes! So whatever you have on hand, whether its a piece of scrap plastic..or cardboard, or a bottle cap even! It can be made into a custom pin! You don't need a pin maker to make these!

Keychains can be made out of anything, similarly like pins! You could even use some of those tutorials to make keychains too! <3
Shrink plastic I believe is the best way to make your own! Hot glue could replace this too I think! (Like how you can make a hot glue pin!) Or just paper and tape!

Handmade Ita bags + Inserts!
An Ita bag is any kind of bag decorated in pins, buttons, keychains, and any other fan merch! In oshikatsu, it is popular to have a bag with a "window" of sorts on the front! (To protect pins, rosettes, etc. from getting broken or lost!) It is popular to put all kinds of merch in them too! Like standees, figures, or plushies!
Ita bags can be mixed with many favorite characters/oshis, or just one if you want! :) You could also make a repeat ita bag! Which is where you put one of the same button/pin in rows! (Very popular!)
To DIY a whole ita bag, you will have to know how to hand sew or use a sewing machine at the very least! You can alter an already made bag to have a "window" or make one from scratch! But to DIY an insert is easy if you already have one!

To DIY plushies, depending on the type, you will have to know how to hand sew at the very least! Felt dolls are very popular! (And the easiest to make!) You can also commission a doll maker to make your oshi into a doll! Kittenmobile on Instagram is a popular oshikatsu felt doll maker! But for this one, I am adding some k-pop doll tutorials and such since theyre the other most common type of doll you'll see around! (The type with embroidered faces!)

Handmade Photocard + Holder!
Photocards are small cards with an image of an oshi/idol! They're a type of merch that many collect! In oshikatsu, many deco card holders to match their aesthetics! :)
To DIY a photocard usually involves printing out an image and laminating it! If you don't have a printer, you can always trace an image from a screen like a lightbox, and paint it/color it yourself! In my own DIYS before, I've used modpodge gloss and matte version to make it either shiny or matte!
To DIY a holder is easy! You can easily buy blank plain holders online, and then deco them however you'd like! With ribbons, stickers, or maybe even use a decoden kit!
