"Y/n, you can't keep doing this" If there was one thing you liked about your friendship with the female Steinfeld sibling is that she always kept it real with you. "You have already gotten hurt enough and its like you don't care"
"Thats because I don't Hails" You turned around to look at her, your eyes red from all the crying that had occured through the night "I don't care anymore"
"THEN WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AFTER HER, AGAIN?"
Hailee had never screamed at you, not ever has she raised her voice at you. Her breath hitched at the sudden outburst taking a step back.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scream" she quickly apologized reaching for you with outstretched hands "Please, don't leave"
"I have to move on Hailee and me staying in this house is not helping, I'm not running after her, I'm getting away from here.
There is no more US
"Can I come visit? After you settle down and all?" She asked in a whisper
"As long as you bring Martini with you, you can always come visit me" You told her while grabbing the small Yorkie from the pillow he slept on last night "If she ever asks about me.."
"Don't worry, I rather die than tell her where you are"
FLORENCE P.O.V
"Are you insane Florence?" Raffie was never the cool and collected sister when it came to anything that had to do with y/n "YOU DID NOT BREAK UP WITH Y/nn OVER A FREAKING TEXT MESSAGE"
"Raff, you have to understa-" Her hand met my mouth
"NO, I don’t want to understand anything" the tears in her eyes told me how much pain it brought her "I will NEVER understand how you chose HIM over the girl that has been with you through thick and thin since you started. I will also never understand how is it that your 'team' already set you up to be with Mr. Brood over here" She said pointing outside of the glass doors where Peter stood talking with my parents in what looked like a very heated conversation from my Dad's side "I will never understand how you just let her go, she is your best friend, the only person that actually UNDERSTANDS your stupidity"
Nobody dared to asked me why I did it
Nobody would ask me how I felt about it
"Raf-"
"Just go" My eyes met hers in shock "Leave!"
My hand grabbed the purse that laid on the bed , the tears making their way to the surface
"And Florence?" I turned around to look at her "Don't come back to this house unless it's HER by your side"
There will never be an US
"She is gone"
"Florence, this will open so much more doors for you inside the industry, you already have so many lined up for you and Peter has been such a great help for your career and this silly little love thing you had going on with Ms y/l/n was never going to work”
“It wasn’t a ‘silly little love thing’, it was 7 years of honesty, love, commitment to each other and I gave it ALL up for a bunch of dickheads?"
Read the banner that found itself hanging on top of the entrance to one of the biggest cruises in the world. It was anchored in the biggest port in Europe, Southhampton, England for the first time after its inauguration.
I dragged my suitcase to one of the cruise boys giving him my suitcase while turning around to look at my companions who were more than astonished at what they were looking at.
"Pugh! You did not mention that this cruise was so luxurious?" said Perrie while she took a video.
"What did you guys didn't understand about the word 'surprise'?" I answered her
I looked back towards the bellboy who was smiling at us nervously and returned the smile. Perrie, Jade, and Leigh-Anne walked towards us putting their bags and those of her little boys in the cart next to mine.
"Hello Sweetheart, would you be able to use your walkie on channel 7 and say that the Captain's guests are here? Thank you." He nodded quickly and did as he was told.
The Magnificent Enchantment is the first-ever cruise completely captained by two women and the best part is that they are the super LGBT couple of the moment. We were walking inside just in time to hear two squeaks from a couple floors up, followed by my name being screamed.
"Florence!" The steps could be heard and their excitement while riding the elevator down was more than noticeable, I knew who they were but Perrie, Jade, and Leigh-Anne didn't yet.
"Danna! Eleonora!" I screamed back once I saw them come into view on the first floor, they ran toward me in their kaki pants and orange shirts both giving me a kiss on each cheek. I could feel their love radiating from them and it was intoxicating.
"Ah! Mom is going to be so happy that you are all here! Where is Hailee?"
Eleonora asked a brown-eyed like the leaves during autumn, black hair usually shaved, and the oldest of the Yirtz clan, while she was looking around for Hailee.
"They should be almost here, the boys and her decided they wanted to go in a separate car" Jade answered coming closer and putting her hand around my shoulders "who are they and how do they know about Hailee and you?" she whispered in my ear concerned
"Girls, this is Eleonora, the oldest child of the captains and this is Danna her long-time girlfriend, also an actress and singer. You will meet the rest of the kids at some point" Perrie came closer with the sweetest smile
"Hello! I'm Perrie and the girl in the back who cannot seem to let go of her mobile phone is Leigh-Anne she is worried that Hailee, Alex, and Jed might do something to Andre" Said Perrie in a whisper to Eleonora to which we all laugh quite possibly the whole cruise heard her. Eleonora's phone rang, prompting her to give me a look that said her moms were calling her.
"How is everything? Do you guys already have a name?" I asked Danna as I looked at Eleonora put her hand on the growing belly that now held a place on her lower stomach
"Yes, we do! But, we are not sharing it yet" Eleonora came back quickly
"Mum wants us to go up to the Captain Quarters, we can wait for Hailee and the boys" The girls nodded Leigh-Anne was too preoccupied with waiting on Andre to appear with the twins through the door to even care about our problems over here.
"I promise the next 2 weeks are going to be AMAZING!! We have a lot to do for our bucket list!" Danna says while hugging me
5 MINUTES LATER
Hailee, Jed, Alex, and Andre made their way in through the door, each of them handing their luggage to the cruise boys at the entrance. Smiles are on all of the boy's faces and then there is the ghost face of Hailee. Hailee found my eyes and smiled at me timidly, my body automatically became putty wanting to be close to her like a magnet.
Hailee Pugh-Steinfeld, my favorite person, my wife, even if to the world she is just Perrie's best friend.

Miss Johnson tossed and turned all night, never able to conciliate her sleep. After the ball, she couldn’t stop thinking about the Princess. Her mind traveled to the blonde and how her hands felt on her skin. Y/n’s hands traced the places Florence had touched her and she remembered the feeling of the blonde’s breath on her face. It kept her up all night as she continued to replay the scene in the library over and over again.
Imagine telling Kate how you really feel after taking a bullet for her and being on the verge of death
When the fighting broke out you and Kate were back to back taking the bad guys down. One by one your moves in sync with one another until more of them started to show up, and eventually things started to get out of hand with civilians being pulled into fray. Forcing the two of you to switch up tactics, and do your best to lure the them away from such a public area to a more secluded area. Once they were in place y'all took control of the situation again, but it was harder for you to keep tabs on your best friend and partner. But from the sound of things Kate was holding her own pretty well.
It was when you were taking the last of the bunch on your side. The gun clicking noise caught your attention you delivered a roundhouse kick to the guy's head knocking him out. Then turned around eyes focused on finding the bad guy with a gun. Kate was too caught up in hand to hand combat with two other guys, to realize the danger she was in. Her quiver of arrows was empty but she still held onto the bow using it to block and strike.
He was located on the left of her just far enough to be out of peripheral vision. His gun was trained on her with his finger hovering over the trigger, as he tried to line up the perfect shot. There was no way you reach him in time to stop him, left with no other choice. You broke out into a run pushing your legs to go faster as his finger pulled back on the trigger. The gun went off firing a single bullet you leapt in front of her just in time shielding her.
The bullet struck you in the upper chest knocking you back onto the ground with a cry of shock. More than pain because you couldn't really feel any pain at first. Eventually a burning sensation did hit you making you groan, and bring a hand to the wound to press down on it. Kate was in the middle of finishing off the two bad guys when your cries reached her ears filling her with dread. A knee to the face knocked one unconscious, and she ducked as the other threw a fist at her face. Making him miss then swung her bow in an upward arc hitting him in the chin. With a grunt of pain he fell back onto the ground clutching his chin.
She was too worried about what happened to you to be concerned. Rather or not he was down for good Kate turned around to see the shooter pointing his gun down at you to finish the job. She ran over reaching down to rip an arrow out of a random body on her way. The arrow already notched and she let it fly sliding down on her knees next to your body. Her aim was perfect the arrow lodged itself in the man's chest, and the gun fell from his hand. The low thud was all the indication she needed that he was down for the count.
Kate wrapped an arm around your waist and placed the other under your head. Bringing your body into her lap when she pulled her hand away it was slick with your blood. Her eyes widened at the sight and locked onto your face. Your skin had gone pale, and your eyes were closed although the rise and fall of your chest meant you were still breathing.
"Y/N hey can you hear me? I need you to wake up for me okay just open your eyes please." Kate pleaded placing a hand on your cheek to pat it. "Come on open those beautiful eyes for me y/n please say something."
You were pretty far gone but her voice filled your ears bringing you back to consciousness. Your eyes slowly peeked open and the first thing you saw was her teary eyed face. Looking down at you the fear clear as day things weren't looking good. You were losing too much blood too fast for her to do anything. That didn't stop Kate from trying her hand now pressing down hard on the bullet wound.
When she saw your eyes open a sob of relief burst from her lips. "H-hey th-there we g-go you're still with me. That's good hey listen to me you're gonna be okay. Clint is going to find us and he'll know what to do about this. He's going to take you to some the magic guy or Bruce and get you fixed up. Just stay with me okay I got you y/n"
You opened your mouth to talk but started coughing viciously making her jump. "Ka-Kat-Katie I-I ne-need t-t-too you something" you stammered.
"No no no stop talking you gotta preserve your strength okay" she begged.
Shaking your head best you could you carried on with what you wanted to say. Knowing this might be the end of the road for you. "It-its okay I need you to know just in case I-I do-don't ma-make it y-you know."
Kate shook her head tears streaming down her face like waterfall. They started hitting your face waking you a little more. "I lo-" you started garbling until a vicious cough brought blood out of your mouth. But still you pressed on determined to get the words out before slipping away into unconsciousness.
"I love you" you managed to whisper loud enough for her to hear.
Kate let out a sob as she watched your eyes close again, calling out your name, and tapping your cheek did nothing. This time at one point she slapped you hard enough it sounded off, and your face flew to the side. But you wouldn't wake by up no matter how hard she tried, or how much she pleaded.
"Y/N come back alright say it again please. I need you to say it again okay you didn't let me say it back." She sobbed pressing her forehead to yours. Her hand was still pressed to your chest which meant she could feel your breathing get more shallow by the minute.
"Kid hey I'm here we gotta g-" Clint rushed into the building but came to halt. When he saw Kate holding your limp body in her arms repeating "say it again" over and over.
He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder "is she still breathing?"
It took her a minute but eventually she was able to look away from you long enough to answer him. "Yeah but it's slow and she lost a lot of blood. Clint she took the bullet meant for me I can't lose her not like this."
Clint nodded crouching down "let me carry her I know where we can take her."
Kate moved out of the way supporting your head until Clint placed his arms under you, and got a good grip. He stood up bringing you with you with him bridal style. "Clint promise me we can save her."
"I'm not going to lose either of you like this" He swore to her then motioned for her to follow him.

It was the night of the Johnson’s ball as well as Y/n’s return home. They were delighted to welcome their daughter back in hopes for her to find a husband that night. Due to the Queen’s proper training, all eyes are expected to be on Miss Y/n. Perhaps that will allow Lord Deighton to spend a bit more time with this season’s diamond.

Summary:
Kate tips her head at Yelena. “I want to run away,” she whispers. Their noses nearly touch, Yelena keeps her mouth closed – her eyes fixed on Kate’s blue eyes. They’re so so close.
“I want all of this to end – I want to run away from the city and never come back.” It was a soft, soulful, and quiet passion of whispers from the brunette. The blonde takes it all in, and keeps them in her heart.
Yelena sees the tiredness in her eyes, the frown on her lips – the crease on her brow. Yelena whispers back.

The sound of people chatting over the music was mildly annoying, to say the least. She could hear the sea in the distance as its waves broke to shore, sending gushes of salty air from time to time. Yelena has never been a fan of parties, hence why she was sitting on a couch at the far end of the outdoor patio. The lights were dim, except the one at the bar. People were dressed in rather fancy clothing, some drunker than others.
She looked around and saw her sister chatting with you and Clint, a small part of her wishing she could be just as comfortable as Natasha seemed to be among all these people. She noticed how your eyes settled on her across the crowd, a smile seemed to be threatening to form on your lips.
With a gentle hand on Natasha's forearm, you excused yourself from the conversation. A minute passed and you were throwing yourself on the couch beside Yelena, linking your arm around hers. "Stop sulking, Lena."
"I'm not." She scoffed at you, turning around to meet your eyes with a grin. The faraway sea breeze made her loose hairs flow.
"Yeah, you are. Come on, at least try to have some fun." You tilted your head slightly to the side, giving her a small smile.
You were adorable. Yelena would never let you know though. With a sneaky touch, she traced the skin of your hand that was resting above her arm.
"I didn't even want to be here in the first place, детка." She said back in a low voice, purposefully using the Russian pet name, knowing it frustrated you to not know what she was saying.
The back and forth flirting was familiar, casual.
You raised an eyebrow to her with an unimpressed look, making her smile. Goosebumps erupted on your skin and you blamed it on the cold air of the night.
"Well, you need new friends other than me." You got up, pulling her with you by the arm, much to her dismay. "Your sister's words, not mine."
You bit your lip and leaned closer to her. She reminded you of the sea in a way. "I'm fine keeping you all to myself." With a wink, you dragged her to the bar.
Yelena couldn't form a reply quick enough for your words. Feeling a fluttering feeling on her stomach, she was glad that the dark atmosphere hid her faint blush.
Your arm remained securely hooked on hers as you walked to the fancy tiki bar Stark insisted on installing for tonight. The barman was pouring rum into a colorful cup as people stopped by to grab their cocktails. Orange and red lights started to shine brighter, highlighting the plants casually hanging around the area.
Leaning against the bar, you ordered two drinks, hoping it would loosen up your friend. You turned your head to look at her and found her bright eyes already locked on you. Her gaze could feel heavy sometimes, not in a bad way.
You moved closer, bumping your shoulder into hers. Letting a playful smile play on your lips as you continued your staring contest. She had the cutest nose, you loved how the lighting complemented her features.
"You look beautiful tonight." Her voice was even and light, her lips holding the tiniest of smiles. But her gaze said plenty. Her words made your playful demeanor falter. It was your turn to blush. Not for the first time, you felt like kissing her.
The moment was broken by someone wrapping an arm around your waist from your other side, making Yelena frown as you were pulled away from her.
Turning around, you couldn't help but smile. "Hey you, having fun I see."
"Always." Wanda tugged you closer to herself, clearly a little tipsy already. "Hi Yelena." She looked around you and shot a bright smile to the blonde, who replied with a tight smile of her own and a tiny wave.
"You promised me a dance." Wanda pouted, her fingers tapping along your waist, with her other hand holding onto her half-full Mai Tai.
You chuckled, remembering how you told her you would give her at least one dance tonight. You grabbed the drink from her hand with a smile and took a small sip. "That I did."
Yelena could feel her nails digging into her skin as she closed her hands into fists. She averted her gaze from you and Wanda, clenching her jaw and exhaling sharply through her nose. The feeling was foreign to her, she didn't know what to make of it. All she knew is that she wanted to be the one to hold you close and drag you away.
A hand on her shoulder brought her back to reality. "I'll be right back okay?" You told her with a smile before walking away.
Her eyes followed you to the dance floor, watching the way you held onto Wanda and twirled your bodies together, throwing your head back in laughter. Yelena gulped, feeling replaced and selfish for wanting you all to herself.
The barman placed both your drinks before her and she took a big gulp of one, her throat burned. Maybe she cared more about you than she wanted to admit.
Yelena had downed both your drink and hers. After forty minutes of her sitting by the bar with a glare on her face that didn't allow anyone close, and you still on the dance floor, she had enough.
She could sparsely make out the waves crashing to shore at the other side of the road. Getting up, she closed her coat tighter around herself and walked away from the commotion. Once the road was crossed, the sea breeze became much more evident, the salty air was welcoming and soothing.
A heavy sigh escaped her as she stopped just before her shoes hit the sand, stuffing her hands in the pockets of her coat. The sound of waves finally overcame the music.
Not five minutes passed before she sensed someone coming towards her. She didn't turn around, her eyes remained on the dark ocean in front of her. The presence was familiar.
Her smile was inevitable when she felt you trying to squeeze yourself under her arm. One hand came to her stomach in a silent request as the other was already at the end of her back. She removed her hand from her pocket, bringing her arm around your shoulders and pulling you to her. The little satisfied noise that escaped you made her heart jump.
"That was more than one dance." She mumbled, letting her teasing tone mask her intent.
"Lost track of time, I'm sorry." Your arms tightened around her waist, she was warm against you.
Yelena grimaced, you sounded genuinely apologetic. She felt possessive in a way that she shouldn't be. "It's okay, you don't owe me anything."
She felt your stare turning away from her and shifting to the ocean ahead, your fingers fidgeting with the hem of her coat. "The beach looks so different at night, don't you think?"
She traced random patterns on your shoulder, humming in agreement.
"It's so dark you can barely see the water. But you can hear the waves much clearer, almost as if they're roaring." You glanced back at her, your cheek gently resting atop her shoulder.
The look on your eyes felt like a rip current pulling her in. Your touch made her walls crumble. "I think I have feelings for you." She stated bluntly, making your eyebrows shoot up.
You gaped like a fish until you managed to get words out, your grip on her waist loosening slightly. "I- what?"
Yelena pursed her lips and shrugged her shoulders, avoiding your eyes. "I never felt the way I do when I'm with you, it's frustrating."
"I wouldn't have it any other way, though." For the first time, Yelena sounded shy.
A shaky breath left you, letting her words sink in. Despite the playful flirting, you never allowed yourself to hope for the idea that she might return the feelings you had for her, not much anyway. Yelena has always been guarded and kept her heart under lock and key, you counted yourself lucky to even call her your friend. Even if your heart ached for more, that was enough.
Now, you became acutely aware of your bodies pressed together. Of the way she was tightly holding you to her. Of how your faces were mere inches apart. Maybe you were never just friends.
You only realized your silence when Yelena bit her lip and shook her head. You thought you saw her eyes glisten. "Forget I said anything."
She moved to remove her arm from around you, but you held onto her hand first. "I feel the same."
Her eyes met yours and you knew she was assessing you for lies, there was a different kind of vulnerability on her stare. Hoping for love. Bracing for rejection.
"I really do." Your voice was merely a whisper as you carefully raised your hand to trace her cheek, giving her enough time to pull away.
When your touch met her, her eyes closed in bliss. She leaned into your hand.
Yelena reminded you of the sea. Powerful, untamable, unpredictable. Yet also, serene, free, and alluring.

Kate waited by her double door balcony, courtains drawn to the sides for a full view of the city of New York and the apartments across from hers. She honestly thought Clint wasn't going to let her leave practice early as he had promised the night before.
Eager was not a word that would ever describe Yelena, but Steve couldn't find a better one to sufficently explain how the blonde was acting. The young Widow was obnously moving around on the passenger seat, reminding Steve of how Natasha use to get when he took forever to get somewhere or something done.
"Do you have somewhere to be?" He asked already knowing the answer
"6:19. I have to be home at 6:19"

The Brunette knew the assassin's schedule to a T. It became one more obssesion for her.
Studying Yelena
If by 6:10 the blonde wasn't home something is wrong and she should be prepared to call for help. The minutes on her clock were passing slow, it was driving her insane.

The underground garage door opened letting the black Lincoln pass through with a beeping sound of approval entry into the Stark owned apartments complex outside the compound in the middle of New York. It actually workout perfectly to have Junior Avengers away from the Main Compound however they had to all be together. Yelena and Peter lived in the same building while Kate and Duke (the Son of Thor) lived right accross the street.
It was almost time...
6:15
10 minutes was an eternity for anyone that continously kept track of the time, like Kate was currently doing.
Fun fact, it didn't move any faster.
She grabbed her water bottle throwing it inside her backpack along side her favorite notebook and ipad. As she walked upstairs to the loft area that held her bed and outside window she took the zip line arrow and her bow from their usual spot next to her bed aiming it at the window that met hers accross the street.
Sliding the window up her ears picked up the buzzing sound of something that was shot in her direction, her cue to move out the way and let the arrow into her room. The arrow went through the gap barely skipping Yelena and onto the target, like always.
6:19
"I thought I had to call the police" It was the first thing the archer tells the assasin as she unclips herself from the zip line
"6:19 on the dot... like always" The blonde retracts the arrow completely from the target, pulling it in and leaving her on her stack of used arrows that Kate has created before allowing Kate to slip her shoes off she grabs her by the waist pulling her in as well
"Kiss me"

Just some fluff bc I really wish my girl was here with me and I miss her so much
