How did it go?
–@anominous-ominous
It went just as well as I thought it would.
We went back to his place afterwards, I think you can establish how well it went from that.
...You're right, you didn't need to know that much.
Well.
Me and Clara are going out for dinner at my favourite diner tonight.
Oh, that sounds nice.
So.. Other than successful dates, how have things been going?
I've been getting along, I suppose. doing a bit of amateur musical theatre here and there.
Oh, have you? That's exciting.
Yes, it is.
I've started being cast in women's roles, which is... not what I was expecting.
Are you enjoying it?
Yes, I suppose. At least there's some variety.
*He grins*
Isn't variety so much better than being boxed into one thing?
Oh, absolutely!
You know, you glowed very brightly when I would see you in a dress.
I.. did...?
Yes. I can tell it made you happy.
Of course you worked that out.
*He chuckles*
I had no idea it was that obvious.
Well, maybe less obvious to others, but I suppose I could tell because I can relate.
...That makes a lot of sense.
Doesn't it? Oh, I wish I had embraced this part of me when I was younger, but I was ashamed.
Well, it's never too late.
You're right.
Although I must say I'm somewhat ashamed. How did you get over that?
It's an ongoing thing. A decision. You can't let other's perceptions of you dictate how you live your life. Honoring yourself is mighty difficult, but it is worth it.
I understand that, but I'll lose my reputation, and that's important.
Then find yourself a double life. Your safety is important. But there are other queers like us out there in the world where we don't have to hide around.
I could take you sometime. A place I know.
I'll have to be myself- well more myself- in secret, then.
I'd appreciate it if you took me to that place.
Of course, Willow.
Oh... I forgot you knew that name.
