ah see that’s the beauty of imagination. i’ve actually seen a lot of edits using face-claims but since the characters don’t have visual clips to use for edits, audios are what they use to create something funny or impactful, i for one enjoy them! it’s nice to just close your eyes and imagine a new scenario connecting the character on screen and what’s happening in the audio, but that’s just me i suppose it’s not for everyone

Some redacted fans take editors, artists and writers for granted, especially as their the backbone of our fandom - said edits that anon described are very iconic to this fandom, many people finding redacted through them. As someone who edits and draws myself, it genuinely takes a lot of time and effort, so I know how much hard work these editors put into their work and page, whether if it takes 20 minutes or two hours. It’s still an edit and makes a positive impact on the fandom, where comments like this are so arrogant, ignoring what goes into behind edits and any creative content in general, belittling hard work and making a negative impact.

The time it took you to watch a few edits, get mad, open tumblr and make a negative confession, you could’ve made head canons, supported other creative people or even could’ve started w your own edit. Or you know scroll and on! We’ve lost many talented editors, artists etc in the past 2 years bc of how negative this fandom is towards things they dislike. Its natural to dislike things, everyone will dislike an edit or art every now and again, but the best thing to do is scroll, support them regardless or make your own creative content
