if the only way you can enjoy a piece of media is to insert romance when there’s next to none in the original i think you have the personality and imagination of wet cardboard

i thought i’d genuinely finally see a fandom where shipping/romance isn’t prioritized over everything else, including the original themes of the media itself

and in my lifetime (yes it genuinely feels that bad) i never thought i’d see a PROTAGONIST actually widely headcanoned as aroace instead of from 3-5 people including me

im new to tumblr so idk if yall do hot takes but mine is that you CANT consider yourself part of the queer/LGBTQ+ community unless you support every identity there! im not saying you ARENT queer or whatever identity, but im saying you cant consider yourself in the community with the rest of us. and reminder that the queer community includes anything 1. NOT harmful 2. deviates from the societal norm, and 3. relates to relationships or gender (correct me if im wrong) radqueers are not part of our community and not supporting them doesnt exclude you because they support harmful identities! however neo/xenopronouns ARE part of the community and not supporting them excludes you. you dont have to understand, you just have to respect them as you would anyone else
