WTFFF... EVIL EVIL. evil & fucked up..... ok ok tldr if u use a vpn, tumblr is likely 2 automatically shadowban u via there screening for spam & bots & shit. (this entails not being able 2 see asks/send ask/u won't show up in people's notifications.) which. this happened 2 me Months ago on my main & still hasn't been resolved so i decided Ok!! i will use a sideblog!! so um. fucking apparently!!!!!!! this sideblog is shadowbanned too now!!!!! fuck my stupid baka life... anyway. literally evil + i swear 2 god i didn't like block u out of nowhere or smth hshfhbdfg u r like.... beloved mutual 2 me!!

i do enjoy "living weapon" characters but specifically living weapons who did in fact do absolutely horrific things which at least a part of them enjoyed and thought was good and right at the time, and that no amount of not knowing any better or guilt they feel in hindsight will ever make up for. i love living weapons who are "irredeemable", and no it's not their fault that they were made that way or pointed in the directions they were by the hand that wielded them, and yes they are victims, but so were their victims. living weapons who some people will never be able to forgive, but who still wake up every day and try to do better than what's expected of them. a sword that uses its blade to cut wheat to make bread for the people who once lived in fear of its arc falling on their heads.

it's really hard i think to do escalation like this Well & i think p5 does it REALLY WELL. its absolutely a hard feat 2 pull off "teenagers get together and change the heart of their shitty pe teacher!" to "okay god's been here the whole time and is immanentizing the personal hell prison of every person in tokyo in the real world and we need to stop him" & i think it's done. REALLY well here!

this also vindicates my ongoing theme of "hey isn't it weird that akira gets all this weird shit and is always in the perfect place at the perfect time and everything goes well for him? almost like there's something watching out for him?"

SO THE IGOR THING. FUN FACT. UH. yes to answer your question igor IS in every persona game but crucially in persona 5 he has a Different Voice Actor and people were like "oh its bc the prev voice actor died" and yes! it is partially bc of that! but also it is a set up! For The Twist! WHICH IS SO FUN!!!!!!

THATS SUCH A FUN TWIST OH MY GODDDD............. this whole time i've been going oh okay that is DEFINITELY an ominous villain voice but like... i dunno.... i know the velvet room's a persona convention so maybe he's just Like That!!!! im. oh my god i feel so vindicated. alary this game is so fucking good.
