Trick or Read

Okay maybe it’s not the catchiest of catch phrases. But the little kids like the event all the same. And Tristan’s happy to help out, even if he’s been stuck in the library all day. Reading...not so much his cup of joe anymore. But his mom had volunteered them to help, so here he was. A bit disappointed he wasn’t going to get to hand out candy at the coffee shop this year but trying to make the most of it all the same. Because the parents needed treats too. And if anyone could whip up a good cup a coffee with very little to work with...well it’s Tristan. The one thing he really takes a pride in, and maybe that shows a little as he hands over an order to the person waiting on it. A friendly smile and a cheat card held up in the process.

Backpack? Gone. Dignity? Lost that along time ago. Body? Intact but soaking wet. Dilemma? His foot is stuck, and he’s getting extremely tired of holding on. Other dilemma? He doesn’t have any idea where the river’s swept him too; and zero way to communicate with anyone that might happen to find him. Well unless he gets incredibly lucky and they speak ASL. On the bright side? The graffiti on the wall under this bridge is actually quite lovely.

It’s one of his days off, so naturally he’s working. Though not at the coffee shop. No today he’s helping his mom out. Manning leather bound treasure’s stall at the Antique Market. He doesn’t mind all that much. Gives him an excuse to browse later, once his mom comes back from getting something to eat. There’s a really fantastic stall a few isle’s down and over that is packed with vintage band memorabilia. So he’s bound to at the least find a new shirt. (Plus the food court has funnel cake and who turns that down?)

But for now he does what he’s here for. Even if it is a bit of a slow day. He straightens books, puts other’s back that people have shuffled about. And makes sure the display case, holding the older more value volumes, remains pristine of finger prints. Humming quietly to Clapton’s guitar that spills from the one earbud resting in his ear.

People forget to look up sometimes. Tristan’s guilty of it too. But now and then he does remember to, and at the moment something’s caught his attention.

It’s not unusual to see large birds that wandered to far south or north zipping around about the buildings now and then; but there’s something odd about the current flying object that’s caught his gaze. Enough to have him stop in his tracks. Curiosity getting the better of him.

                   What the heck is that?

Earbuds tightly in his ears, walking along main street, coffee in hand. He’s got no real destination and that’s very okay with him. It’s a nice day. So maybe a little window shopping, maybe the zoo he hasn’t been there in a while. Who knows. But for now he’s content, with where he is. Stopping to buy an apple, from a fruit stand on the corner.

From there he turns with the intention on continuing down the street when he realizes there’s something by his foot. Square and leather and uh oh. He’s crouching down to pick it up, moving out of the walk way. Opening it. The driver’s license inside, greeting him.

Brown hues instantly snapping up. Scanning the street, up one way and back the other. A few heart beats skipping with worry for the person it belongs too because losing a wallet can really put a bad vibe over someone’s day. But then…oh! There. That’s got to be them. And he’s hurrying off after them. Though maybe he’s not making as much progress as he’d like gaining on them. He’s not exactly the fastest runner. Short legs and all that.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?:  Tristan as a person hasn’t really thought about this, but defs over 20 please. The guy’s 30. But I also think he just does better with people that are older than him. I dunno why.

Are you selective when shipping?: if my selective you mean i require chem, then yes.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?:   Im paranoid as fuck about this and generally tag before it even get far. I just don’t wanna scar people or get others in trouble at work.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?: @macians  is the only one right now, but there’s a few others i know Tristan would fall for it just hasn’t happened yet or been discussed with the mun.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?: nah. if chem happens bring it on.

How often do you like to ship?: when chemistry is there.

Are you multiship?:  YES

Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?:  when a ship develops expect me to scream at u about it at random intervals. no matter what time it is.

What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?:  LOL uh...well this fandom is almost so small it nearly doesn’t exist (at least here on tumblr) but in show....ya know i’d rather not say. It got a lot of hate across the internets so i’ll just spare myself the drama.

Finally, how does one ship with you?:   if your muse and mine have chem bring it up. Sometimes im sitting here completely oblivious and other times im sitting here wondering if i should say something or not. lol.
