-> Despite this fact, a figure could be seen stumbling by the side of the road, leaning his shoulder against any wall within reach. He looked.. Rough. Though his pink outfit may have been cute when he first put it on, it had seen better nights. His leg, barely visible under a skirt and socks, sported a large gash covered by some kind of weird membrane. His only visible eye looked vacant, as if he didn't know where he was. His fuzzy bunny ears were pinned to the sides of his head.

-> He looked very familiar.

He wasn't normally in Crossroads much anymore that he now lived with his gooey marshmallow boyfriend, but he was out visiting his papa right now. -> He wasn't expecting to see something like this...

-> The figure staggers, then falls to the ground, curling up into a tight ball in the opening of an alley. He just stared at the concrete beneath him, eye dull.

-> The pink demon didn't look up at the other as he approached. He didn't even seem to hear his footsteps. That was until PJ got closer - finally, Cutie blinks and looks up, his eye focusing on the other demon.

"Were you talkin' to me?"

"Uh... No? I-I came over to check on you..." -> Huh? Why did his voice sound so familiar? "You look unwell... And you've got funny goop on your leg!"

"You- What?"

-> He blinks, as if needing a moment to process the sea bunny's words. He glances down at his leg.

"Oh, um.. Yeah. Guess I do, huh? Eheh..."

"C'mon! I can take your somewhere to get cleaned up!" -> He smiles brightly and holds out one of his little hands to the bunny. Huh... He seemed so familiar, he even had a tooth gap like someone the pink bunny knew!

-> He stares at the hand, hesitantly grabbing hold of it and letting the other demon pull him up.

"You.. Do you know, uh.. Buster?"

-> His bunny ears perked up. "Big brother!" -> He squeaked with delight. "Are you one of his friends?"

-> He smiles behind his mask and nods, his demeanor brightening a little.

"I mean.. Yeah, I guess I am! We talk sometimes.."

"I didn't know he had any friends honestly.... I thought he just had his version of Marshy!" -> Marshy? Who was that?

-> It takes a moment, but it isn't hard to guess who this "Marshy" would be adjacent to based on context.

"You mean Sci? Yeaah, he takes up most of Buster's attention.. But I still think he's a friend! He's helped me a lot these past few weeks..."

-> He chuckles weakly.

"Aww, like pajamas..!"

-> The man was absolutely MASSIVE too, much larger than a normal demon. Was it a god? Demigod maybe? Whatever it was, it was big and threatening looking.

-> He stumbles to his feet and quickly backs away, the dock's rotting boards groaning under the weight.

"What- W-Who- Don't you even try to hurt me!"

-> His voice quivers and his fuzzy ears pin to the sides of his head. He tries to hiss threateningly, but it's feeble and he shrinks under the demon's gaze.

-> The demon doesn't say anything and merges out of the water, stopping at right about his waist. He was massive, a strong build and a threatening aura to him. -> In his hands looked like... An anchor? A glowing, semi-translucent anchor that had some odd little orbs resting within it. The demon hasn't said a single thing, but the tentacles that breached from his attire twitched and squirmed a little.

-> His eye darts from the anchor to the demon's helmet, back and forth, as his hands shake. He hisses again, and it comes out a bit more confident.

"W-What do you want?!"

-> He doesn't say anything and continues to stare at the small pink demon, watching him while breathing heavily. He hasn't said a single word this entire time, why wasn't he talking? Could he not talk or something?

-> Cutie opens his mouth to say something, only for the board below him to crack. It snaps below his foot, making him yelp as his leg plunges into the newly splintered hole in the wood.

-> He tries to pull his leg out, but it only makes the other boards creak around him. Blood begins to trickle from above his knee, down his leg, and into the water below.

-> The guardian watches silently before sinking back below the water and vanishing from sight. Suddenly, something cold and slimy wraps around the scientist's leg and helps him slip out from the boards. -> It was... A tentacle? Hopefully the tentacle came from that big guy and not something else...

-> He whimpers and presses his hands against the deck, trying to steady himself. There's a large gash in the side of his leg along with many other scratches and splinters from the broken board. Blood stains the wood below where he's sitting.

-> The tentacles gently slithered around the scientist's broken leg, squeezing it and producing some sort of... Weird film? Slime? -> A small demon dressed in pink sits on the edge of a dock overlooking the ocean. The dock is in major disrepair, the wood rotting and cracked, ready to break at any moment. But the demon doesn't seem to care. He stares down at his reflection, socks and shoes sitting beside him as he dangles his legs in the water and idly swishes them around.

-> He looks numb.

-> This isn't the waters from the ocean that surrounded the world this little scientist knew. It was cleaner and clearer, little fish and blades of seaweed could be seen below the surface as either mere shadows or much closer reflections. -> The area was quiet, maybe it was a little TOO quiet. But wasn't silence a good thing right now? Wasn't the peace of the ocean a nice thing to have? Wasn't- -> What was that?

-> Cutie glances around. He swore that he'd heard something. But.. Maybe his mind is playing tricks on him. Wouldn't be the first time. He wasn't even sure how he got here - all he remembered was running away and not being able to find Jester's old carnival.

-> He looks down at his lap, sniffling softly and rubbing his eye. He hated feeling sorry for himself, but he couldn't keep denying a lot of things anymore. He just couldn't.

-> Bubbles. -> Those were bubbles in the water. Bubbles breaching the surface and... A shadow slowly getting bigger and bigger. Something was coming out of the water. And it looked absolutely MASSIVE.

-> The scientist shrieked and scrambled back, staring at the water with a wide eye. His heart thumped and his mind screamed at him to move, to run, to hide, to do ANYTHING, but he couldn't get himself to move.

-> A pair of horns broke through the water's surface, followed by a head and eventually the upper body of... A demon? What the hell was going on here?

-> The man was absolutely MASSIVE too, much larger than a normal demon. Was it a god? Demigod maybe? Whatever it was, it was big and threatening looking.

-> He stumbles to his feet and quickly backs away, the dock's rotting boards groaning under the weight.

"What- W-Who- Don't you even try to hurt me!"

-> His voice quivers and his fuzzy ears pin to the sides of his head. He tries to hiss threateningly, but it's feeble and he shrinks under the demon's gaze.

-> The demon doesn't say anything and merges out of the water, stopping at right about his waist. He was massive, a strong build and a threatening aura to him. -> In his hands looked like... An anchor? A glowing, semi-translucent anchor that had some odd little orbs resting within it. The demon hasn't said a single thing, but the tentacles that breached from his attire twitched and squirmed a little.

-> His eye darts from the anchor to the demon's helmet, back and forth, as his hands shake. He hisses again, and it comes out a bit more confident.

"W-What do you want?!"

-> He doesn't say anything and continues to stare at the small pink demon, watching him while breathing heavily. He hasn't said a single word this entire time, why wasn't he talking? Could he not talk or something?

-> Cutie opens his mouth to say something, only for the board below him to crack. It snaps below his foot, making him yelp as his leg plunges into the newly splintered hole in the wood.

-> He tries to pull his leg out, but it only makes the other boards creak around him. Blood begins to trickle from above his knee, down his leg, and into the water below.

-> The guardian watches silently before sinking back below the water and vanishing from sight. Suddenly, something cold and slimy wraps around the scientist's leg and helps him slip out from the boards. -> It was... A tentacle? Hopefully the tentacle came from that big guy and not something else...

-> He whimpers and presses his hands against the deck, trying to steady himself. There's a large gash in the side of his leg along with many other scratches and splinters from the broken board. Blood stains the wood below where he's sitting.

-> He was panicking and confused. Did this creature just HELP him? Why? What could he want from Cutiespace??

-> The tentacles gently slithered around the scientist's broken leg, squeezing it and producing some sort of... Weird film? Slime? It was kind of hard to tell. -> Eventually the tentacles pulled back, leaving the scientist with a sort of... Cast? A cast of the slime that covered up the wounded area.

-> He stares wide-eyed at the tentacle, then at his leg, temporarily forgetting the burning pain in his leg.

"Woah..."

-> He tries to move his leg, only to hiss and wince from the pain.

-> The bubbles came back. -> And soon enough, the massive demon emerged once more, that strange strange anchor gripped tightly within his massive hands! Had he... Had he done that?

"Did you.. I-I mean-"

-> He gingerly shifts so that his leg is splayed slightly to the side.

"Why did you do that?"

-> A gurgle. A simple bubbling sound. The massive underwater demon hasn't said a single goddamn word. Could he not speak? or was he purposefully holding himself back from communicating? -> Although he did nod. Yes, that was his doing. A very small splotch of the scientist's blood could be seen on the tentacle that broke through his helmet.

"Oh-"

-> He stares at the tentacle for a moment, then covers his wound with his sleeves as if hiding his weakness.

"..Thanks..."

-> Another gurgle! -> He moved closer to the dock, the weight of his upper body causing the rotten wood to groan underneath him. It looked like he wanted to step up, to join the other, but he didn't. He knew the dock would simply crumble underneath his weight. -> He'd be able to survive in the other, the scientist uh... Most likely not!

-> He scooches forward until he's sitting in an awkward position closer to the demon. He's bleeding.. A lot. But he doesn't seem to notice all that much.

"So, uh.. Who are you? I've never met a big water demon guy."
