I like how many points of interest there are in this shot. The ladies buying food from a street vendor on the left, a circle of young boys to the right and the little girl running through the centre adds life to a scene dominated by old, weather-beaten walls.

"Jaws Corner" is called that because many years ago someone had a TV here and played the movie Jaws. People from all over the island came to watch :) Being surrounded by the sea you can see why the movie had such an impact!

Hey :) Thanks so much for all the likes and for following! I'm glad that you like my photography so much.
I used to use a canon eos1, that is a film back. Mostly shooting on fuji velvia film. Last year I did the switch to digital. Now I'm shooting with a canon 5D Mark II. An orphans innocence was taken on a 16-35mm wide angle lens set to 16mm. She was literally right next to me! :)
I love how the tree bends its branches around the tomb as if to protect and shelter it.

I was with some friends volunteering at a school up in northern Zululand, giving health talks. During the break I took a walk around the school grounds and saw these 2 messing about outside the boys toilets. I like how the writing on the wall matches their behaviour, "Boys will be boys."
