War and Peace is a mess

So I know a lot of you guys haven’t read war and peace (I mean I don’t blame you, that thing is enormous) so I want to tell you some things about it that might interest the comet fans

- Andrei is 18 years older than Natasha, was married before, is a widower and has a son - Sonya and Natasha are actually second cousins, they grew up together as Sonya lost her parents and had no one else, and Sonya is a childhood sweetheart to Natasha’s brother Nikolai. He is her Fiancé at war™ - Dolokhov fell in love with Sonya. Like really in love. He even proposed to her, to everybody’s surprise, but she said no. - Anatole once proposed to princess Mary (for the money), she was totally up to marry him…until she saw him with her French companion - Natasha doesn’t like Dolokhov - Marya D. Is barely mentioned - Prince Andrei is a great character! Every Russian school girl falls in love with him, he is kinda like mr. Darcy in that way (although they don’t share much similarities, they are just everyone’s favourites) - Natasha has another brother called Petya, who some people believe to be gay and in love with Dolokhov as he speaks of him as his hero and Dolokhov once kissed him because he saw him reach for his lips (honestly this book is so gay) - Pierre is really clumsy and awkward and doesn’t know how to behave in society and he’s really kind and loving and open. I know you know that but I just want to say good things about him. He also used to be a mason. He is considered to be one of the best and the most inspiring characters in Russian literature and is believed to be Tolstoy’s favourite. - Tolstoy wrote the whole page on how hot Dolokhov was - And same with almost every male character - While the ladies are described as mostly unattractive - Okay - Once Fedya, Anatole and Pierre tied a guy to a bear’s back and threw him into the river just for lulz - Dolokhov that same day drunk the whole bottle of rum sitting on the window and I think that perfectly describes what kind of character he is. - Dolokhov is actually believed not to be a real friend to Anatole. He is just taking advantage of his wealth. - Anatole and Helene spent quite a long time separated by their parents as they were in love with each other - Yep - Insect - Tolstoy has no chill
