My Opinion On Swan Queen

I personally ship Captain Swan, not Swan Queen.

Before I get any accusations, I’m clearing this up now- I am straight, and I am not homophobic. I love LGBT ships (Dorothy and Ruby are adorable) and I have quite a few LGBT ships in other fandoms.

But… I don’t like Swan Queen. I feel like girls (and guys) can’t be close friends anymore without being shipped. I love the idea of them being besties and something cool like that, but Regina, she, well, I think Emma depends on someone she knows is going to do everything in her interest. Regina has gone behind her back to do things for her/Henry, but Emma doesn’t like that at all. She’s got issues with it, and Killian helps her with that. 

Yeah, he’s screwed up, but so has Regina. But Emma doesn’t seem to see her like that, and I don’t see it as anything more than best friends.

My Opinion On Captain Swan

I personally ship Swan Queen, not Captain Swan.

Before I get any accusations,lets make this straigh, I am gay, and I am not heterophobic. I love some straight ships (Snow and David are really cute) and I have some straigh ships in other fandoms, like Barry and  Caitlin (the flash)

But… I don’t like Captain Swan. I feel like girls and guys can’t be close friends anymore without being shipped. I love the idea of men and women being friends without romance and something cool like that, but Killian, he, well, I think Emma deservers someone she knows is going to do everything in her to help her and Regina helps, but killian…he has gone behind her backlying to her all the time, and Emma doesn’t like when someone hide someting from her. She have some issues with trust (who doesn’t in her place), and Reginas since season 2 is always there to help her.

Yeah, Regina did some bad things in the past and also have killian and he keeps lying to her and screwing things up. But unfortunately Emma doesn’t seem to see him in that way, and I personally don’t see them as anything more than a example of a bad relationship.

The three things that happen when a show unexpectedly discovers it has a popular gay ship

1. They ignore it while panicked efforts are made to heterosexualize the couple in question. An acceptable straight white love interest is rapidly shoe-horned into the narrative.

2. They decide to do something nice for their queer fans by introducing an entirely different gay romance that those fans had no previous interest in. This couple will quickly be sidelined.

3. They actually get the gay couple who are shipped by the fandom together. Then they kill one of them.

The one thing that never happens when a show unexpectedly discovers it has a popular gay ship

1. They realize they can take advantage of the scorching chemistry between the pair, slow-burn the romance and end the show by sending them off happily into the sunset.

Filming 6x17 - “Awake” - February 1st [x] [1,?] -  Snow is walking down the street while Granny is opening up the Dinner. They have some kind of exchange which leaves Granny exasperated (at least looks like she is annoyed). Snow continues down the street, looks to be startle by something and then seems to bump into Regina, like she can’t see her. They then seem to have a exchange.

I’m sure swen is endgame but only towards the end. that line felt so out of place for hook to say. Makes you think of Henry straight away- who has been watching his moms get closer and closer over the years. Plus Henry, Regina and Emma are the only couple it parallels.

Regina and Emma have always been linked through Henry but throughout the years, they have established a conscious ( or unconscious ) connection to eachother to keep be able to save Henry and protect him. As well as eachother. They are a family.

HENRY IS WATCHING HIS PARENTS FALL IN LOVE. THIS HAS BEEN THE STORY ALL ALONG.
