When I was coming up with how Voldemort would look as Gaunt I mostly had how Ralph Fiennes looked in the 2000s (such as in Schindler's List) for Gaunt when I was describing Gaunt. There were also these fanarts of human Voldemort too

Anyway, here is Ralph Fiennes in GoF Featurette in 2005 giving an interview about Voldemort

Just imagine him black-haired and that's pretty much Gaunt - at least how I imagine he'd look...

That's why I had Harry say his "face looked familiar" it's literally Voldemort just his skin a normal color, younger, with hair and not long nails and being an eldritch horror lol 🤣 I visualise Voldemort in nynn as the one in Harry Potter Illustrated Edition by Jim Kay, that I feel is the most accurate depiction of Voldemort but also with a mix of movie Voldemort.

But I can see why Matthew Goode came to mind for Gaunt (even though I never saw the actor only now that I googled him in that show and wow you're so right it scares me haha) and I'm lowkey happy there is a guy who fits the description of Gaunt and that he isn't 2000s Ralph Fiennes or a fanart and that you could imagine him! And wow, I can totally imagine why Harry would blush if Gaunt is played by Matthew Goode - he's good looking!

I recommend Element; it's very similar to Discord and has basically the same features but it's privacy-focused and both servers and DMs can both be encrypted so only the actual users of those rooms can read the messages.

This means unlike most popular chat apps, including and especially Discord, Element doesn't sell your conversations or tracking data to advertisers, because the company literally doesn't have access to that data in the first place.

I've used it for years and I think it's a natural fit for Discord users.

The problem with this is transferring YEARS of Discord usage to these new alternatives. Until a tool is made that allows full back up if not transfer of All That, then transitioning to these alternatives isn't feasible for the baseline everyday user.
