i made a game!! play it here for free!! put edgeworth as your name!!! or nothing at all!!!!!
it's a pretty silly and short story i worked on (with a little help from my friends for some stuff<3) for velox fabula's game jam!! it was made in ten days (sans the update... which i forgot to do until recently) and with the theme of unreliable narrator :)
"after much wait, your old friend from high school finally replies to your letter and agrees to meet you for coffee at the local bar! reconnect with him [in a very specific italian experience] and be besties again!! or don't!!!"
featuring:
3 cgs!!!!!!!! (my favourite is on the route for the bad ends lol)
around 5k words
namable protagonist
no pronouns!!! do not be percieved!!!!!!
partial voice acting
an original soundtrack!!
4 endings
and marcello/marzo ig (the only romance/friendship option)
i go a bit more in detail about the stuff in the update in this devlog!
anyway, here's marzo (left) and giò (right) with a vespa :)
"making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.
Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".
We are beyond thrilled to share the cover art that artist Jinx Inks has done for our next anthology, Wild and Full of Marvels: Queer Fanworks Inspired by Folklore and Fairy Tales.
This all-new collection, fourth in our Queer Fanworks Inspired By… series, features 23 stories, 23 art pieces, and a 10-page comic, all inspired by folklore, fairy tales, myths, and legends with personal significance to the creator. Teasers, excerpts, and trims of the art pieces will be shared throughout our Kickstarter campaign. Check out the contributor list and read their biographies!
We’re also offering some awesome merchandise, all featuring art by the anthology contributors. We’ll be sharing reveals for these pieces over the next couple weeks as we lead up to our upcoming campaign launch.
Follow our pre-launch page on Kickstarter to be among the first to hear when our campaign goes live on July 8th 2026!
The Queer Liberation Library is doing a fundraiser all throughout June. Duck Prints Press was already planning to donate to QLL this month as part of our Pride Bundle Charity Fundraiser (so far, we’ll be donating around $40, but we hope to raise that), but we wanted to shout-out QLL because they’re just that awesome – an online Libby library available, for free, to everyone in the United States, chuck full of queer books! – and also because we’ve made a team for the fundraiser, and if our team can hit $300, we can ask QLL to pick up any book of our choice – and we’re going to ask them to get more of Duck Prints Press’s books (they have some already, so if you want to get our books from the library, they’re a great choice… just sayin’…)!
Join our team and donate to support Queer Liberation Library and free access (in the US) to queer books!
In the US and don’t yet have a library card for the Queer Liberation Library? Do the thing!
(We also have a long-standing $5/month donation to QLL, because they deserve it, dang it.)

Pride is a great time to load up your device of choice with queer e-books to last you all year. In addition to the short story and art bundles of Duck Prints Press titles we’re selling to raise money for charity, we’re also part of five (!!!) different itch.io bundles currently running.
Pride Book Fair: PRIDE HARD!
The Pride Book Fair is a month-long virtual book fair hosted on Instagram and Bluesky, aiming to uplift queer authors and books. During the first week, the Book Fair is offering four different itch.io bundles, and Duck Prints Press has books in… all of them! Each bundle is $40 USD, and each contains either 37 or 38 queer books.
Pride Book Fair Bundle 1: PRIDE HARD includes a lot of awesome stuff, including our anthology Scholarly Pursuits. The bundle’s $40 USD price tag is a savings of 73% off the list price of the included books.
Pride Book Fair Bundle 2: PRIDE HARD with a Vengeance is a 72% savings at $40 USD, and our book Many Drops Make a Stream by Adrian Harley is among the 37 books in it. (The artist-author May Barros, who has done a fair amount of art with DPP, also has a book in this bundle!)
Pride Book Fair Bundle 3: Live Free or PRIDE HARD has 38 titles at a 71% discount, and includes novelette In Good Company by Nicola Kapron.
Pride Book Fair Bundle 4: A Good Day to PRIDE HARD is the last bundle, $40 for 38 titles (73% off list price). The first book of our recently-fully-published trilogy Twinned, Commit to the Kick by Tris Lawrence, is in this bundle!
Get one bundle or get ‘um all, there’s a lot of really awesome queer fiction in these bundles, so I hope you’ll check ‘um out!
These bundles end on June 8th!

LGBTQ+ Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror Bundle
This Pride bundle features 23 stories for only $10, an 82% savings. Among the titles is Puppetry by Nina Waters! As the title indicates, all the works in this one are under the speculative fiction umbrella – they’re either science fiction, fantasy, or horror (SFFH).
Get this one between now and June 13th!

Can’t get enough? Well, as a final note, there are still a little over 12 hours left to get the Queerly Beloved bundle, featuring 32 queer romances for only $10! We’ve got three titles in this one – To Drive the Hundred Miles by Alec J. Marsh, Moongatherer by Willa Blythe, and Lightbringer by boneturtle.

[Gregory Edgeworth has too much on his mind already, too bad his lovesick heart won't give him a break]
There was too much here to unsettle Gregory Edgeworth. A murder at a baking competition. Sharing the investigation with Manfred Von Karma, whose presence could freeze a room instantly. Two children going missing, which especially instilled fatherly panic in him as thoughts of his own son disappearing tugged at his mind.
He really didn’t need his heart fluttering in his chest every time he stood a little too close to the grizzled detective, Tyrell Badd. The first time it happened, he simply brushed it off as being too on edge from the investigation. Nothing to think about too deeply. However, once he realized it was a pattern, he was greeted with a new kind of anxiety.
“Hey, Mr. E! So I was talking to Judy and—Helloooooooo? Are you okay, Mr. E?”
Gregory startled at Eddie’s sudden appearance. He really needed to keep it together and focus on the investigation at hand. Best to leave personal matters away from the crime scene. Now he had to be professional.
“I’m sorry, Eddie. I’m fine. As you were saying?” prompted Gregory with as neutral of an expression as he could muster. Of course, as luck would have it, Detective Badd was standing in the doorway across the room, conversing with one of the police officers outside.
Eddie frowned.
“Are you sure? You don’t look all that present—”
His attention drifted from his assistant to Badd who was intimidating the officer and sucking on one of his signature lollipops.
“Wait, Mr. E, are you blushing?” whisper-shouted Eddie. “What are you look at over…ohhhhhhh, I see.”
He nearly jumped out of his skin and instinctively grabbed his hat to keep it from falling off. Gregory shushed him loudly, earning a few curious glances from the officers nearby. He pulled his assistant over to the side for a tad more privacy.
“Eddie, please. We’re in the middle of an investigation; we need to stay focused.”
“Uh huh. And what were you looking at again?” Eddie teased.
He had no comeback for that. Taking the silence as a victory, his assistant continued.
“Don’t worry about a thing, Mr. E! I had my suspicions about you two since the beginning. I think you’re at the stage you can start peppering in some good old-fashioned flirting into the mix!”
“…Flirting? Now, I really don’t think that’s appropriate to do in the middle of a crime scene.”
Clearly not listening to his reservations, Eddie whipped out his notepad and began scribbling furiously. He then ripped out the paper and thrusted it into his mentor’s hands.
“Here you go! It’s a rush job but these’ll work!”
Gregory looked down at the pick-up lines. The options seemed a bit too silly to him, but if they work they work, he supposed.
“Uh, thank you. I’ll keep this in mind for later.”
He folded the paper to put into his pocket, but Eddie abruptly grabbed his hand.
“You have to eat it,” he said seriously.
“I believe I can remember a few sentences just fine.”
His assistant refused to let go, a fierce look of determination radiating through his eyes.
“Look, I know you’re gonna get so nervous in front of him you’ll completely blank. It happens to all first-time flirters. Eat it so you don’t forget.”
It wouldn’t be his first time flirting, Gregory thought stubbornly to himself. After all, he did manage to get married just fine a long time ago. He wasn’t completely hopeless, was he?
“If it lets you at ease, then fine,” Gregory relented and Eddie released his hand. There was no use in hesitating further, so in one smooth motion he placed the folded paper in his mouth, chewed carefully, and swallowed, silently praying he wouldn’t get any paper cuts on the way down.
“How do you feel, Mr. E?” Eddie prompted after the silence had drawn on for too long.
He placed his hand to his mouth, unsure of how to even begin answering. On one hand, he felt absolutely ridiculous taking time away from the investigation to swallow a piece of paper because he was insecure about his flirting skills. On the other, he really did feel more confident because of it.
A gruff voice broke the silence and his momentary confidence. “I didn’t know you and the kid… both shared that strange habit…”
hihihi @just-a-carrot !!!! i'm your secret santa this year :)

this was linked in the linked thread so i thought it would be worth sharing, this is more than likely related to the policies being enforced by Visa & Mastercard (the same reason for what’s happening with Steam), so to anyone in the US please consider signing this petition being put forward by the ACLU:
Mastercard's new policy unfairly targets the adult content industry, making sex workers more vulnerable, especially Black trans women. It mu
