I’ve chatted with wieprz quite a bit, but I can’t speak for him or for Draeth. What I can say is that there is definitely a place for a persistent USB Linux OS that is used only for your pirate wallet. You keep it in a safe (with a backup of you privkeys or of the drive after you’ve created key pairs) and only boot your computer to the Ghostship drive when you need to send ARRR. Better than a hardware wallet or other options because when wieprz is finished, it should be an easy to use boot device that covers security and anonymity with things like VPS, MAC address spoofing, blocked ports to prevent scans, running Linux, and what amounts to offline storage when you shutdown.
