But yeah, no I fought with the pose on this one for MONTHS. I haven’t drawn anything in months if not a whole year, so I can’t remember how anatomy works 🥲 and my friends couldn’t figure out how to help me. She’s supposed to be squatting (I thought having them both sit would be boring (I deeply regret it but I’m too far in.)) I also forgot that her jacket is literally brown 🤨

Yesterday, I mentioned art of my oc, Vivica, after broken steel & decided I should post this one. It took me 29 hours according to ibis but I think I was in a manic episode so it didn’t feel that long LOL.

Either way, I’m still pretty happy with it but I do see some flaws looking back.

So sorry for the late answer!

Personally, I have only played mothership zeta (bc I’m kind of a sci-fi nerd) & broken steel, even tho it’s been years. 😭 Kind of a long story but I lost my main save bc my ex stole my 360 (long story like I said.)

I don’t have many headcanons for zeta but broken steel is kinda like the big thing she goes thru. In my main story rn, after broken steel she kinda settles down and eventually goes to the commonwealth. (fo4)

I kind of have an alternate ending where, after waking up she turns into a ghoul because realistically that’s what makes the most sense to me. But that’s kind of a recent thing and idk if I wanna stick that in her main story arc. I do have some art of her after broken steel that I should post but it’s a bit old. Should I do concept art of her as a ghoul?

Growing Up Fast

As kids, Viv and Butch fought a lot. Like It was almost cartoonish how much they hated each other. The other kids in the vault teased them for it, but most of the adults just assumed it was flirting done by children who didn’t really understand how they felt yet. It was almost seen as cute, in true 1950s vault fashion. Lol.

Later in adolescence though, things took a turn. Their rivalry, over time, turned into Butch constantly trying to push Viv’s buttons. Because Vivica was always slightly more resilient and..self assured than Amata, it turned into a game for Butch and his friends. They figured out that there was only one way to truly piss her off, and that was by upsetting Amata.

Future Imperfect

Things got…weird…in highschool. By then they had developed a sort of hormone fueled love/hate relationship. This of course, put a wedge between Viv and Amata, whose friendship was never really fully repaired.

They went to prom together and that night they realized they did not have the chemistry they thought they did. Leaving things awkward and uncomfortable lol.

Escape!

After LW left the vault, Butch actually mellowed out quite a bit. With no one left to pick on, and no real reason to bother Amata (other than her dad), Butch took the classic anti-authority route. Still everyone kind of knew it was because he had nothing else to focus his energy on lol.

Trouble On The Homefront

When LW returned to the vault, she expected to find the same Butch she grew up with. However, what she actually found was someone who had matured and desperately needed more in life than 101.

LW (& Charon lmao) had the pleasure of escorting Butch, someone who had never left the vault, half way across the wasteland all the way to Rivet City.

There he soon found his place as a barber. 🧐😐🤷‍♀️ (not my place to judge ((I’m literally doing cosmo rn))

Broken Steel

Though Butch leads a more quiet life, especially during The Waters of Life, he and LW both hang out like old friends any time she’s in town. When things get rough, they have a drink and catch up on life.

Charon has grown to..not totally hate him. :)
