Theory: Bungou strays Dogs Part 1 begins and ends the same way.
Atsushi in Part 1 thought he was being chased by the tiger which led him into coming to Yokohama. The same place where the Book was being kept and that we later learn is tied to the tiger in some way.
Which I’ve always interpreted as the tiger leading Atsushi to where the Book is, but of course he doesn’t know that so he thinks it’s chasing him.
And that’s why Fitzgerald was happy to burn Yokohama to the ground and then let Atsushi loose to find the book. Not only would it have survived the fire but whether Atsushi believed it or not he instinctively knows its location.
Because the tiger does and his presence in the city alone proves that.
While Atsushi in the end of Part 1 holds up a piece of the page and is transported across time and space to London in the past.
The Book can be used to re-shape reality itself and in Bsd Beast we learn it has even created its own worlds that branch off the main Bsd universe. The page was torn from the Book and we know it has those same qualities.
And it seems apparent that Atsushi is aware of all of this. Given that inside the 4th dimensional space he was able to traverse freely within it. His ability marks him as the Bookmark and makes him the only one able him to traverse this dimensional space outside his own space and time.
That I assume is one such place created by the Book as all other branching realities are in Bungou Stray Dogs. Which if that’s the case explains why Atsushi is that one exception to this place.
Atsushi much like the Book is also able to reshape reality as he’s able to use his tiger claws to rewind time to save Akutagawa. Akin to how a bookmark allows one to return to a certain point in a story.
And now the Book has transported him across space and time once again to a certain point in time. It calls out to him specifically, signaling Atsushi out and brings it to its chosen destination.
Much like how the tiger bought Atsushi to Yokohama the Book is bringing him to London. Perhaps it’s able to do so more overtly then before because Atsushi now has information he didn’t possess in the beginning of the series.
And is also holding a piece of the Book instead of just being in its general area like before.
In both instances we begin with Atsushi who’s all alone being bought to a strange new place because of his ability and its connection to the Book.
And well Atsushi also ends up on the verge of passing out in and is helped by a mysterious man offering him a hand..
