In silent hill 2 I don't see many people talk about how James is sort of misogynist hypocrite, especially towards Angela. The way he says "me? No I would never kill myself" to her when he's spent the entire game both passively and actively suicidal is like almost degrading to her.... I don't know if misogynist is the right word but he definitely seems to have a lack of respect for women's feelings and an almost moral high ground against suicide despite being suicidal and literally killing himself in one ending

I see a lot of people say part 2 of chainsaw man is uninteresting or lower quality than part 1. I'm early on into reading it, but, I really think the only reason people don't like it as much is because it's the antithesis to generic shonen drone. There are fights and arcs and such but a lot of it is very brazenly thematic, part one was as well, but nowhere near as open as part 2 is from the very start.

There's also the whole lack of denji and focusing on a girl that will always go over like a lead balloon with most shonen fans but that's a different discussion
