Favorite muzzles for muzzle training? Someone already suggested Jafco and I might get one of those since they have a treat hole option, but just wanted some other brand recs as well. Banana’s current muzzle is cheap plastic and doesn’t allow him to take treats while wearing it which is problematic for reinforcing past the “just stick your nose in it real quick for food” point and also he hates it because the plastic is scratchy.

Baskerville and Baskerville ultra are great beginner muzzles and inexpensive. You can run them through the dishwasher or toss them in a pot of hot water for a bit to soften them up and make them less scratchy or decorate them. Bones has yarn wrapped around the top of his to lessen discomfort while we find the perfect muzzle.
