Soul Eater will recieve a full remake. It will adapt the entire manga, true to every moment. They will not rush or drag the original canonical material that was already animated. The full voice actor cast will return for both dub and sub. It will be entirely hand-drawn animation. The original openings and endings will be reanimated and remastered and then introduce new ones of equal or higher quality instead of writing new ones from the start. The OST will include remastered versions of the original tracks and there will be references to the character songs Mauve-iro no Sympathy, My Star, and Sore ga Bokura no Michishirube. Lord Death and Asura's confrontation the night of his resurrection will use visual framing properly to foreshadow their mentor-and-student relationship like the manga did instead of framing the two as some kind of arch-nemeses. The voice actors will still do cute little bits during the episode previews. They will preserve Giriko calling Soul a faggot in the Book of Eibon arc without censorship. References to Episode 41 of the original anime, Twirl 'Round and 'Round – A New World in Which the Doc Dances? will be made during the scenes where Stein goes AWOL with Marie, because Twirl 'Round and 'Round – A New World in Which the Doc Dances? is high cinema and everybody knows it. The CD drama where Maka tries to pull off Lord Death's face will be animated and included as an OVA.
