Cultural Anatomy: Fire Nation Shoulder Pieces
You know those distinctive triangular shoulder pads that you see on a lot of Fire Nation armor? These are common elements in traditional Thai armor, as well as Thai Ballet costumes (which exaggerate the pointy silhouette of the armor):
The second guy is giving off some serious Fire Nation energy. Meanwhile the layered, curly shoulder pieces that the Fire Lords wear are inspired by traditional Burmese clothing for men of royal or noble birth.
It really speaks to how militarized their culture is that their king is expected to just wear ceremonial armor at all times. Or how even everyday fashion appears to emulate the silhouette of the military class, like Ty Lee’s acrobat outfit. Triangular shoulder pads are like the Fire Nation’s version of the camo-print trend in the US.

A beautiful little cabin in Kolašin, Montenegro. It is located next to a river and it has a beautiful little garden. I visit it every time I go to Kolašin. It looks so small but inside there is everything you need - a kitchen, a bathroom and enough beds for four.
Y’all I finally got my Meds refilled (fucking Walgreens) and I’m feeling super inspired. I’m gonna bedazzle a machete stay tuned
SIDE ONE DONE. I use E6000 glue so I’m gonna let it cure for a few hours, maybe overnight before I do the other side.
I THOUGHT IT WAS A HYPERBOLE
I THOUGHT YOU HAD GLUED YOUR PILLS TO THE MACHETE
Therapist: Are your meds helping you?
Me, thinking about how last night I spent 3 hours gluing them to a machete: yes
don’t bother him when he’s in the zone
Anyways here’s a pic of a Russian diamond mining town with a hole so big it displaces the air and sucks in helicopters when flown above it.
imagine getting beat by the diamond russian squat boys and they say ‘drag his ass to the hole’
I’m HOLLERING, CLARK!
“If you would be so kind as to h*cking Perish”
That’s the face of a man that could turn his opponents hand into strawberry jam, but he’s not listening to that part even though it’s really convincing
That face says “Is that all you have, my good bitch?”
