if anyone is struggling to keep up with the Sparklecare Situation, I have written a shortened summary which hopefully can help. I tried to include sources but to be honest it is kind of draining to keep up with everything.
i'm anxious posting this because i think this could be written better and it criticizes a lot of real people. But i think it's important to make this information more accessible. And i don't feel like blogging about sparklecare without pinning this to my blog.

Sparklecare was(?) a webcomic about brightly colored furries enduring torment in a fantastically terrible hospital. It ran for years and had a very dedicated following on places like Tumblr. Then the main creator - named Kittycorn/Kneeby/Eve - was exposed for secretly drawing a bunch of incest/underage porn/comics of her characters. These characters were in her public normal comics. She was also exposed for being friends with certain people (which I will get into at the end). Previously in 2023, Kittycorn had made statements that were clearly antiship, in which she claimed that "i [Kittycorn] don't support it [proshipping], i never will." The call out document argues that incest references were hidden in the public comic - to what degree that’s true is debated but there were some odd moments in the comic in my opinion (for one, that moment in Cometcare where it’s revealed that Marco’s insomnia is because his parents fuck too loud??? also the character Eve constantly bullying her sibling Sly who is literally depressed and has awful self-worth, but Kittycorn claiming that it’s totally not abusive at all.)
People were also upset that Kittycorn had, in a private discord server, posted a collage of fan art of Sly and Marco (her characters who are siblings) interacting, which she captioned some things implying she was seeing their fan art as shipping (which was not the fan artists’ intention). User chunktism replied to a post of this saying that he was 14 when they drew one of the pieces which was included. This has led to people saying that Kittycorn fetish mined minors. Since the call out, Kittycorn has embraced being “proship”. She says that it makes her happy and that she does it because of her incest trauma from childhood. She has made a version of one of her comic AUs in which being incestuous is called being “kindred” and is analogous to being gay. A bunch of the characters are into their siblings. It’s very weird… and unintentionally terrifying and funny, in a badly written way? (Source - basically every post on her Tumblr blog “askfreakycare”, she also talked about it a bit on the official sparklecarehospital blog.)

They shared vore fetish art with their sibling when they were kids. Chimera was 12 and the sibling was 8. (Source)
People are pretty sure that Kittycorn is friends with Chimera. There’s art that kittycorn drew of Chimera’s OCs. (Can't find the screenshot but I saw it.)
Also I think Chimera’s spouse Loki is awful and I’ll talk about it even though he’s not directly connected to Kittycorn as far as anyone is aware. Loki is a drawer of “feral” furry porn and he identifies as a zoophile. He often retweets/reblogs posts about how “contact discourse doesn’t matter”. Contact discourse is the argument over whether or not having sex with children or animals is abuse. He’s saying he doesn’t care about people supporting bestiality or child sex abuse. He had an account on Oddballs, which was a website that allowed pro-contacts AND minors. (I wrote more about this at the end of an older document I made)
a proshipper named woofles who dated a 15 y/o when he was 18. drew suggestive porn of characters meant to represent himself and the 15 y/o (Source: popular woofles callout document). also he would subtweet about this kid (this animation he posted on tumblr at some point + another post which i talk about in an older document i wrote). also, one time woofles’ alter posted a bunch of screenshots of the previously-fifteen-year-old’s weird sexual interests as some kind of gotcha. (people are less sure that this guy is actually friends with Kittycorn but it’s probable? he likes kittycorn’s posts and is friends with Chimera.)
someone named Oliver who sent porn to minors he was close with (his caregiver/partner explains this but excuses his actions by saying that he was In A Bad Place tee em. (Source <- also claims he's friends with Kittycorn in private.)
Emsody, who had an overly close relationship to a 14 year old when Emsody was 18. Emsody say their actions were because of [Emsody] being groomed and abused, but that nothing sexually inappropriate actually happened in the relationship, besides codependency. Some of their jokes relating to this have made people uncomfortable and suspicious. The original doc claims Emsody is a groomer - The call out shows screenshots in which Emsody says "do they even know i groomed the guy who made this" and that Emsody "got butterflies just from holding him" [the then-14-year-old]. It also alledges that Emsody has flirted with freshly-18-year-olds as a 24 year old. (Sources: The section of the original call out titled "Emsody (Predator/Groomer)", Emsody's response)
