A picture of one of my Dislye ocs, ‘Pigeon’! Decided to try out a few things- Including adding additional texture via an overlay layer, and drawing a motorcycle for the first time ever! (Drawing vehicles has always gone poorly in the past, but I don't hate how this turned out!)

I’ve been rewatching Ever After High with my friend and was thinking about what my characters would all look like in it, and so far I’ve made a lot of progress on Sky’s! (Though I might switch their name here)

They’re inspired by Basile's Cinderella (One of my favorite fairytales of all time<3), and, along with their sister, is a rebel

While the idea of killing someone is something they feel conflicted about, they at least feel that if there’s always going to be blood on their hands, regardless of what they do, they’d rather it’d be for the sake of protecting others, so their overall goal is to become a hero of some sort, whether it be via knighthood, or more morally grey means.

Themes for them include the difference between pacifism and harmlessness, the ethics of the death sentence/traditional views of justice or vengeance, and the lengths people are willing to go to to protect those they love

Their design is still a work in progress, particularly, their hair piece (their overall color palette is based off a date tree, and preferably, I want whatever hair accessory they have to be made of the wood/tree itself, but I've yet to figure out what it'd specifically be), but, I’m very happy with how it looks so far!!

This is a old one, Allium, a character from a original story that I may or may not ever get around to writing-

The old ref was very outdated and I took this opportunity to make a more detailed ref for her!

I really love the new color palette, it fits the flower they're named after a lot better!

Yet another updated ref, this time for the Shattering Angels variation of Gabby, I really love how this came out! It feels like a way better executed version of their old ref, along with elements from one of my favorite drawings I've done of them!

Been trying to speed run some refs before Art Fight, and we're starting off strong with a Dislyte version of Gabby! (Who goes by Violet in this universe-)

I was having a lot of trouble figuring out a design for them, as I wanted something inspired by their patron, but also not too formal or obvious as they're not a Shadow Decree or Esper Union member, but I'm pretty happy with how this came out! Especially the texturing I did with the shading and such- Definitely a technique I'll be continuing to use in the future!
