another question for you in regards to the road trip chapter!!
what type of car are they using for the road trip/whose car is it?
I will be so real! I have no clue about cars, i just say "car" and i think, ya a car is a car, i don't need to think about brands. so i didn't really know at the time but i can give some ideas/concepts rn
In the au, multiple characters have cars, tho because their town is mostly walkable they don't tend to always use them, there's alot of talk of the characters walking to place to place, instead of driving unless it's for trip purposes.
I am also factoring in the jobs they may have, how much i can reasonably say they get paid and if they can afford a car at their current timeline.
Nom has a car, he has a pretty reasonable job and got one as a teen i'd think. i like to think it's not a big car, it's definitely not a truck or van. Something like a Kia? maybe? I know so little about cars. On the smaller side compared to cars today, I think he would lowkey prefer to not have a car at all, but he needs it to,, do work.(what is his job,,, i haven't fully decided sooo.. this is vague LOL). Nom is like, second choice for when they go on roadtrips or just, general trips as a group.
4c on the other hand, does not have a car, for good reason! He's never had a car, tho he does have a license. I think he used to have a bike maybe but he prefers walking everywhere if he can. If he needs to go somewhere far, he'll ask Nom if he's willing to take him, Nom normally does ofc.
Graecie is probably the first choice when they go on trips as a group, She has a very nice decent car imo that is just big enough to fit most of blue if they really squeeze in there. And if they put someone in the trunk. I doubt that they haven't! I don't really know what kind of car she would have, again,, i don't know car brands or types very well at all, but i do think it's some shade of pink and she does have about a million car stickers on it from random events she's gone to and a few that she's just bought :3 She's also a very good driver imo so the others do trust her in driving them LOL
I think Owain is pretty close third, he has a decent sized car, tho i don't think it's trunk can fit anyone like graecies </3 other then maybe 4c. he's kinda tiny. It's very plan, i think it's some shade of grey, i don't think he'd go flashy but i don't think he actually likes that it is grey.
Other then those three, Shan doesn't have a car yet, but she's saving up, so is Mae, she's like, JUST got fianically stable enough to not worry about rent so she's starting the saving process to actually have a car. I do think like 4c, Mae does like walking everywhere but she knows she needs a car for outside of their town so she does want one. Eloise definitely has a car, she has a very high paying job and also kinda needs it to get to said job and the different locations she needs to be for it, so it's kinda mandatory for her. However I don't think she likes driving with so many other people in the car so i doubt she'd offer to drive until later in the "story" or timeline. Scott has a bike. He uses that bike, as much as he can, and he does not want a car. His bike has a basket in front and there's flowers woven into it, it's quite cute.
That's blue only tho, i don't remember if i've written like,, implied roadtrip or just general trip stuff about red but i'll talk about them to because i am obsessed with talking about this au. whoops, sorry, im gonna be alittle annoying LOLL
Kitty does not know how to drive and he is lowkey kinda scared to, I think she has abit of trauma with cars, and while she can deal with being in them now, they have quite abit of stress with actually being behind a wheel, and when told to take a drivers test back in like, highschool, he could not even put in the key, without it shaking out of their hand cause they were trembling so hard. They're slowly getting better with it tho.
Katie can drive, she learned very early, probably from Nom, before either of them really should of been driving, but she didn't get a car until MUCH later ofc. So she does have a car, It's definitely not the one she wants but it is the one she has, i'd probably say it's an older car, it's pretty small and can really only fit 4 people max even if u try to squeeze another in.
Sausage can drive, has a car, it's pretty nice! It is. a van. it is a van, similar shape to the mystery machine from Scooby doo. He absolutely did that on purpose, he likes them. It is black and red, i think he custom painted it, artistic :] It has stickers and knick knacks in the front, very customized, very aesthetic. How did he get the money to do this. No one has a clue, including me! and when asked, he does not give a straight answer. Probably 1st choice if every red member is going but otherwise, i think multiple of them are scared to get into that van.
Cam would rather be caught murdering someone then behind a wheel.
Frogue can drive, does not have a car currently, used to, not anymore, He is saving up for one, but it is a slow slow process right now.
Bek has a car, it has horse stickers on the back, and is pretty good! It's probably decently big. I think they used to have a truck but traded it in for a decent non-truck when she went to college. idk what that means im just saying it. I think for red She's 1st choice if there isn't the whole club or team or whatever going, decent sized car, air conditioning, not to squeezed, pretty good :] and Bek is a good driver.
Cherri has a car, it was bought by her father as a birthday gift, it's very nice, it is a two seater. you are not getting a third person in there im so sorry. It is a decently expensive car.
Apo also has a car, which does make this the only of the roommates in this au to have both of them have a car, claps claps claps!! good for them :] It is decent, it is nice, she definitely keeps it as clean as she can, and it can just barely fit 6 people if you squeeze em in, and 7, if u put frogue in the trunk. So she very often, it's asked to be the driver for red's trips, and has just decided to let it happen at some point, she said no originally, it kept being asked, Cherri specifically makes puppy dog eyes at her and she goes "shitt, okay i guess" So she's like 2nd choice.
Okay so for the question you originally asked, cars are vague, but for the scene i'm pretty sure if i remember correctly, you are asking about, it is Graecie that drives them.
If it's blue, it's most likely Graecie, with Nom and Owain doing it otherwise.
If it's something where they have to take turns driving, Graecie would rather Shan or Owain drive her car if she can't, Nom probably wouldn't allow that? and Owain would very tentatively let Graecie if needed.
if it's red, It's probably Bek, with Apo just behind, and Sausage if they really need everyone.
If it's something where they have to take turns driving, Bek would probably let Katie or Apo take the wheel, maybe Sausage if he promised to be careful, Apo would really only let Cherri and maybe Katie, and Sausage would probably let any of the group if truly wanted but would definitely prefer to drive his own van the entire way even if it's a long drive.
One of the days, it will come to that it's both blue and red! in that case, it would be multiple cars filled with different smaller groups of people. hopefully.
Does any of this make sense, maybe, maybe not, i hope so! I ended up putting quite abit of thought into it, but i am not a car person so i probably sound crazy cause im just kinda vaguing about it LOL
If anyone has any actual ideas on what actual cars everyone would have, it'd be cool to see if willing teehee
