I've always thought the Goth bedroom set that came with Teen Style Stuff would look quite appropriate for witches and warlocks. Although I liked the shape of the items, I never actually used them because of the questionable choice of colours. Dark, Dark, and more Dark. So I recoloured them using Goat's wood textures and Shastakiss's yeti and pirate colours.
The number of packages is bordering on insane, and I didn't even do all the colours! That's because most of the furniture uses two contrasting colours, and I obviously couldn't limit myself to one or two combinations. Insane, I tell you.
I've included a swatch for the combos, as well as Shastakiss's swatches for the pirate woods and the standard yeti colours.
What you get:
- chair frame in all pirate woods + padding in all yeti colours
- mirror in pirate woods only (pheww, only five packages)
- the dresser, bed, bookshelf, desk and endtable in all pirate woods + a selection of yeti colours for the coloured accents (that's where the swatch comes in handy)
The packages are compressorised, and are clearly named so that you can cull the colours you don't want.

Yeaaaaahhh! You finally finished building this huge castle for your three Sims. But lo and behold, you can't see the Sims in question, even when the walls are cut-off or down! How will you check if they're smustling in the bathroom, or eating spoiled food?
It's a tragedy waiting to happen!
What can you do? Well, take a trebuchet to it, I say! A few well-aimed shots, and there will be walls no more.
Or download this replacement for the Store Castle build set. It includes (and replaces) Havelock's add-ons, so you'll still be able to curve your way up to the top.

I also corrected the name of the corner inside column on the preview pic. It's corner wall with a view. Even though it doesn't have a view...
So, what's in it?
Havelock's Castle Build bundle updated so that the tall wall portions turn invisible when walls are down, i.e:
Slab of Wall
Slab of Wall with Narrow Window
Corner Wall with a view (i.e. the tall, inside corner wall) (the view is a lie)
Not affected:
the small top walls
the outside corner walls
the narrow columns that help around corners or finish up raw walls ("Wee Tower Walls")
the tower
doors and actual windows
I also reordered the init_common BHAVs and init BHAVs for all the columns, because I'm a nerd.
Caveats
Walls that you had already put down will have to be deleted and replaced to show the change.
I've had to change the behaviour of the columns so that they could disappear, which means:
they have to be placed against a wall
they need a ground tile below them (either actual ground, or a floor tile)
workaround: use moveobjects on
I didn't do the narrow Wee Tower Walls because, although they did indead vanish with the walls down, they couldn't rotate anymore without moveobjects on. Which would be fine, I guess. With how the cut-off works, however, they only disappear when not on a cornerā¦ so about 10% of the time. Not worth it, as they're not very obtrusive in the first place.
How to install
Replace Castle_Buildmode_bundle.package with one of my versions (noMG or MG - for columns in architectural tab).
This bundle also replaces all the individual build files, e.g. Column_WallCastleCapCornerOutsideSoft.package, Door_2Tile_CastleArchThin.package, etc.
Don't be like silly little me and leave them in like when I first mass-downloaded and installed the Store sets!
I love Skellās longer version of the Tech outfit, and I thought itād make a suitable default replacement for my victorian nannies. I picked up the pink and green houndtooth versions for it.
As itās an adult mesh, your nannies will look quite perky. Thatās because looking after children keeps you young!
Replaces base gameās efbodynanny_nanny and efbodynanny_nannyalternate. As with all default replacements, there can only be one otherwise borkiness happens.
This went a lot faster than I expected! Child to elder, with unused toddler hair removed. Six natural colours, binned, with grey linked to black.
Iāve left it categorised as everything-under-the-sun because Iām not sure what people want with Victorian hats.
Coral Oldie tells me she wonāt mind wearing it in the bath.
Troubleshooting: some poke-through visible from above; it doesnāt bother me, quite frankly. I thought there was an issue with the childās hair, but it was just a lighting artefact in bodyshop. It looks absolutely fine in game!

Credits: Lidqnata, Remi, Nymphy, and everyone who wrote a tutorial on retexturing sims 2 hair (I started with @deedee-sims, @mikexx2 (I read the āresourcesā page to the end btw XD ) and @peppermint-ginger, plus others).
Dare I say Iām reasonably happy with it? I just need to fix the wrong txmt or whatever on the childās hair, double-check everything including the tooltips, take pictures, zip it... and Iāll have textured my first hair!
Got me stumped for a little while, as I could ignore the error a couple of times only before it crashed. Workaround: turn preview off when loading the hair. Thatās it!
I guess this is a new blog, yay! I have a couple of older downloads to reblog from my main simblr, but for now, letās go with something new.
This is a default replacement for tfbodylaraoveralls and afbodylaraoveralls, replaced with @delonarielās adorable Pirate Bloomers.
IMPORTANT! Property changes: as this is intended to be used as swimwear by my historically-inclined sims, I decategorised it from everyday and recategorised it as swimwear / sleepwear / undies and athletic.
