Rainer Judd wears many hats. She is an actor (you may remember her from Jack with Robin Williams); a filmmaker; an artist; and the President of Judd Foundation, which seeks to preserve the living and working spaces of her father, the artist Donald Judd (1928-1994).
Watch Rainer Judd's short film, "Remember Back, Remember When", a richly shot powerful work starring Martin Donovan and Alex Auder, which depicts a scene from the difficult and protracted custody battle between Rainer's parents, The late minimalist artist Donald Judd and Julie Finch.

16mm film.
Instant End was inspired by the avant-garde Soviet cinema of Dziga Vertov, who was a pioneer in developing the expressive potential of the medium of film. A young woman explores black ink in stark contrast to the montage of a speeding city. As the pace of the city races forward, she covers her body in black and finally disappears.
