Hello there! Day TWENTY-FIVE and Last day of my Seven Kingdom’s Queens serie!

For the final day, a little bonus, the Queen of Meereen, Princess of Dragonstone, Daenerys « Stormborn » Targaryen, the Unburnt and the Mother of Dragons, wife of Khal Drogo and of Hizdahr zo Loraq, and FINALLY, pretender to the Iron Throne (that’s a lot of titles)

She’s, obviously wearing a purple tokar, her three dragon head crown and is surrounded by her dragons, Drogon, Viserrion and Rhaegal.

It was noisier as well, as sailors and traders from half a hundred lands crowded its wharves and alleys, mingling with those who served and preyed on them. Cat liked it best of any place in Braavos. She liked the noise and the strange smells, and seeing what ships had come in on the evening tide and what ships had departed. She liked the sailors too; the boisterous Tyroshi with their booming voices and dyed whiskers; the fair-haired Lyseni, always trying to niggle down her prices; the squat, hairy sailors from the Port of Ibben, growling curses in low, raspy voices. Her favorites were the Summer Islanders, with their skins as smooth and dark as teak. They wore feathered cloaks of red and green and yellow, and the tall masts and white sails of their swan ships were magnificent.

Dany liked the strangeness of the Eastern Market too, with all its queer sights and sounds and smells. She often spent her mornings there, nibbling tree eggs, locust pie, and green noodles, listening to the high ululating voices of the spellsingers, gaping at manticores in silver cages and immense grey elephants and the striped black-and-white horses of the Jogos Nhai. She enjoyed watching all the people too: dark solemn Asshai'i and tall pale Qartheen, the bright-eyed men of Yi Ti in monkey-tail hats, warrior maids from Bayasabhad, Shamyriana, and Kayakayanaya with iron rings in their nipples and rubies in their cheeks, even the dour and frightening Shadow Men, who covered their arms and legs and chests with tattoos and hid their faces behind masks. The Eastern Market was a place of wonder and magic for Dany.

I love how both Dany and Arya love the atmosphere that develops when so many different people are interacting, the various individuals, what they’re selling or buying, whatever they happen to be doing, they just love the atmosphere that emerges.

Well, the first art piece I commissioned for Asoiaf. Here is what I imagine and hope would happen, in which Dany introduces Drogon to Mya Stone, Gendry Waters and Edric Storm. And I tried to show how their reactions would have been as Mya would be bold and since she loves her mules, I thought that she loves animals in general and would be excited to meet a dragon; Gendry would be uncomfortable as he is the least amongst the three of Roberts bastards to be comfortable next to nobility; and Edric tries to pretend to be not interested in Drogon as he would be idolizing Robert, who himself hated Targaryens and dragons, but Dany would try to convince him to give Drogon a pet, also to enable him to move pass from idolizing someone like Robert. And Dany also does not hate Roberts bastards due to being influenced by Barristan Selmy. And to clarify, I just commissioned this fanart, it’s drawn by jota.s.art. You can find him on Instagram. Anyhow, I hope you guys enjoy this art 😊
