Wow guys, I really am beyond words at this point. I’ve been on Tumblr for a little over a year now and honestly, it’s been one of the best experiences of my life. Once again that day came upon the world. The anniversary of Ur’s death. Gray spent that day drinking and alone and watching the sky. Taking a sip of the whisky he brought from Mira. Gray wondered how everything would have turned out if he was stronger. He missed Ur so very much, he still blamed himself for her death and his parents. Sighing softly the male could only think about the past. It felt like only yesterday Ur sacrificed herself for him and Lyon. A single tear ran down his face at the thought of her dying. Lifting up this coat he used the sleeve to wipe away the tear. And then he heard his name being called. Turning around he noticed Juvia was standing behind him.

"Oh! If it isn’t Juvia.”

"Good evening, Gray-san" the water mage greeted, flashing him a bright smile that covered the uncertainty that had almost stopped her from approaching him. And it would have if she had not seen the smallest glimmer on his cheek before he wiped it off. But that small push was enough for Juvia to stay in her plan.

Even if Gray would had wished otherwise, the whole guild already knew the reason behind his silence, most of them respecting his wish to be left alone, and that was exactly what Juvia was going to do at first. But after hearing bits and pieces of the whole story from  several sources, she had began to doubt if that was really the best thing she could do. And now, well now she was her.

"Do you mind if Juvia sits here?" she asked, gesturing the place next to him. "Juvia just wanted to know if she could help if she could help you in some way, if you want talk or... something..." The bluenette's voice died off as the uncertainty creeped back to her mind. This was not a good idea at all, if Gray wished to talk he would most probably say so. And what was the worst that could happen? Him getting angry and sulking for few days? That was not something she couldn't take, as much as she wished to avoid that.

"Let's take a day off together."

"Of course, but why so suddenly?"

"You should tell Juvia if you have something planned, darling"

Stumbling back against the bar of the guild, his fingers gripped the surface of the table as his body shook violently. A natural reaction, some figured, but for him it was much worse. He’d experience death many times before but this… he couldn’t accept this to be true. He’d just saw her yesterday, a quick kiss being shared between them before she boarded the train.

                It couldn’t be true…

                                    it just couldn’t…

               But the more the numbness left his body, the more he realized this wasn’t some night terror plaguing him in slumber. This was real. Fate had struck him critically once more and now the only person he ever loved with all his heart was gone. Taken from him by either an act of battle or accident. Those were the facts and he would have to accept her sudden demise.

               At that moment, he felt the tears begin to stain his cheeks as he looked back to the crowd gathering around them. Apparently he wasn’t the first to receive the news, which annoyed him a bit, but that was irrelevant. They knew what would happen to him when this was revealed and they wanted to be supportive. He was so thankful for the amazing friends he had in Fairy Tail.

               But still, nothing could mend his broken heart now. He needed solace, to be away from the world and time to accept his beloved’s passing. Time was the key and he needed it now more than ever. Pushing past the crowd and bolting from the guild hall, he was in his house within a few minutes. Once he was alone in his bedroom, he simply stared at a random point in the room and let his mind process the situation.                                                  Tears fell like the strongest waterfall…
