Personal take that I don't think us/the Soul physically can possess anyone else but Kris because the Soul is still Kris's soul. We've never been shown that's possible, only that others can absorb souls (in UT)

Additionally:

- for the vessel specifically I'd imagine most of the group are very neutral on them since they probably don't have much of a personality. The goners probably like them the most though, Friend finds them boring, same with eram and dess doesn't care. The Vessel likes the Goners the most probably (since the goners include them in stuff and are interested in them) and finds Kris interesting. I'd imagine they're able to kind of get a personality overtime (?) through interacting with others but start as a blank slate

-And Dess and Kris get along well still even though obviously they're not quite the same as before Dess got lost + became the Knight. They have a good working relationship and probably the best communication imo
