I use Apple Music and last week Lover finally got an animated album. However, it doesn’t work in Now Playing mode. Anyone else experiencing this? What’s weird is it works with “All Of The Girls You Loved Before”. All of the other albums work fine.

*heartstopper season two spoilers*

for a long time i’ve believed that seven by taylor swift is so much more meaningful and powerful when listening to it through a queer lens. listening to lyrics about love and friendship tied with escapism and hiding. or even just the lyric “hide in the closet” that has much more meaning when considering it as a metaphorical closet

and because of this i think the way it was used in episode eight of heartstopper was so beautiful and impactful. having it start with that moment of tara and darcy sharing their love with each other and understanding the challenges they are facing and the household darcy is living in combined with lyrics of hiding and trying to get someone to understand these strong (child like) emotions you are facing.

it’s a song about love faced with very real and raw problems, which is sort of what this season is. it’s also a song used during a time that could be a party with more upbeat fast music, but using this song shows that this is a time of just love and friendship and understanding, being who you are honestly and openly being loved and safe because of those around you, escaping this deep hardships you are facing for lasting love, child like and innocent
