Talking about the whereabouts of Tenma and Shinsuke made Kariya suddenly get a bit worried himself about something. “Oh no, what if I can’t play soccer again because of this? Augh, what’ll happen to the defense? What about Kirino-” He stopped himself before going on. While it seemed innocent enough, in Kariya’s mind he was worried it may have revealed his feelings for the pigtailed defender. Something he definitely didn’t want to share.
