hi i’m reviving this au, i’m currently working on the story itself, but i struggle sitting down to do writing without being prompted so i figure i’d accept/request questions and prompts about this au that i have a lot of thoughts and feelings about, because answering stuff is easier and i love talking about it!

the summary: 

A Danny Phantom AU inspired by this artwork (artist deactivated), in which Jack and Maddie finish the portal when Danny is five, Jazz seven, and Danny mistakenly goes through. Hijinks and shenanigans along with pain and discovery, the AU has parallel storylines following Danny in the Ghost Zone and Jazz in the Living World as they grow up with their changed living situations, and the people around them.

this one’s set in my Raised by Ghosts au bc idk how to do non-au stuff¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

spoilers for stuff later in the au, not that that’s stopped me before

Danny knew something wasn’t quite right about him.

Of course, he’s understood for a long time that he’s not like his family; that he’s not a ghost, he’s human, alive, blood courses through his veins, not ectoplasm, all that jazz, but this is more than that. Or rather, it’s becoming less true.

Bad End

Happy Halloween! My first Ectober Week has been super fun! Anyway, this has heavy spoilers for (one of) the endings of the Raised by Ghosts au, just in case you’d like to avoid those. That said, this will be only a snippet, and is subject to change when I get to this point later. Content warnings: mentions of murder / blood / gore.

Jazz didn’t want to believe her eyes.

Yet she couldn’t stop staring.

“You monsters! How- how could you? What did he do to you, huh?”

Mischief Night

Whoo, day six of Ectober Week 2015!! Here, Danny is about eight, it’s summer and… Ember and Skulker handed Danny off to Uncle Johnny and Aunt Kitty for awhile. Set in the Raised by Ghosts au, of course.

“I can’t believe we’re taking care of the punk for the weekend.”

“You’re worse than Skulker, his name is Danny. And it’s not so bad, he’s adorable, and it’s a chance to go out into the living world, y’know? So brighten up, it’s a beautiful day!”

“If by “beautiful” you mean hot as balls, then yeah, totally. It shouldn’t be this damn hot so late in the day.”

“Whatever, Johnny, if you’d rather, you can just leave; me and Danny’ll have a blast together, isn’t that right?”

Urban Legends

Ectober Week 2015, day four is a go!! I was super excited about this one I hope you guys enjoy it too! As before, set in the Raised by Ghosts au, and for this one, Danny would be fourteen, and Jazz is sixteen.

“Woah, what’s up with Jazz?” Tucker spotted her standing hunched at her locker. “She’s been getting worse all week.”

“You mean you losers don’t know?”

Sam sighed. “Know what, Dash?”

He puffed up a bit about knowing something Sam “know-it-all” Manson didn’t before deflating again. “Today’s the ninth anniversary of her younger brother’s disappearance.”

Like the last one (and the rest to come tbh), this is set in my Raised by Ghosts au; this in particular is almost a year after Found and Missing, so Danny is six, Jazz eight. The layout and style of this one is different from the others in the series, but hopefully it’s clear enough to follow.
