I took a little hike around Lake Ogallala today. I got to see some bald eagles as well.

Yesterday I went out to Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge for a hike. It was a beautiful day and I got to see lots of wildlife. The ticks were out in full force though, so I stayed out of the high grass.

I have a meeting in Cody, Nebraska tomorrow which provided me an opportunity to do some hiking around Valentine, NE area today. I have been wanting to hike the trails up here, but the distance kept me from doing a day trip. Unfortunately, most of the trails were still snow covered and closed off. But I got to see a lot of wildlife, and some beautiful scenery.
