So, if you shot your shot at tenna he at first would be embarrassed but consider it cause he still likes attention and if someone is willing to give it to him he will act offended but accept it anyways.

So you have a good success rate(hell become more docile around you and everything)! about spamton trying to kill you, you better run away with tenna before spamton finds out

Tenna’s got a whole lot of self restraint. If anyone tried to give me a ring of misery and evil, they’d be punched as hard as I could manage.

As for Spamton, you gotta applaud the absolute ego it takes to convince yourself ‘Yeah, this’ll get me exactly what I want.’ Clearly someone’s not used to rejection.

(Also, your art is really good and this au seems really interesting. I look forward to seeing the story progress.)

I guess youre right, tenna in the au does have a lot of restraint, but in that scene he was clouded with, most likely fear at the fact of what spamton was doing, tenna still cares about spamton enough that his body lied to him making him feel like he wasnt in danger when he was.

And for spamton, he is a guy who doesnt understand what sympathy or be caring to others is, he mostly sees everyone around him as a pawn on his game of chess,, ofc hes not used to people SPECIALLY tenna telling him no

Ok this, is a bit complex to answer but ill try my best to answer without spoiling much,,

the aus swap part only happends with spamton and tennas deal nothing else which means tenna is still the 'lord of screens' and still gets cleaved,, the fact that tenna ended in the trash wasnt meant to happend and it did morph the prophecy but it didnt morph the prophecy enough to stop the fact of him getting cleaved. That still happends

Spamton also has a similar end but i aint telling you that now!

How bad was the breakup to cause Mr "abandonment issues" Tenna to want to seek out solitude?

If i explained the whole break up situation id be writting forever heheh, i'll give a brief explanation. Their relationship besides the start of it was never really...healthy, both Spamton and Tenna messed with each others mental states without even realizing it, leading to Tenna leaving Spamtons side then coming back, this being a repetitive cycle they both found out they were longing for in a weird way.

From this experience Tenna saw how his desperation to be loved/relevant i'm reality was just full on ruining him. He ran away from that trying to leave in solitude to stop hurting, But it KILLS him he can't stand to be alone but he has to, he can't get hurt if he doesnt associate

(Partially both Spamton and Tenna ruined eachother and killed their relationship in which by the way, they don't even feel bothered to separate from it they separated because Tenna has other issues around that i can't explain before i spoil everything)

Spamtons original design for this au was created by My sibling(Mangjiaoo!) as a request from me! I usually make Tenna interpretations so the idea of making a Spamton interpretations for an AU wasnt really up My alley

Okay well, the thorn ring is supposed to give a trance effect (plus give them a small power up if they are "weak"...)to the person who it's being applied to, this also works with Tenna, but he switched his hands which means the trance effect doesnt work on him anymore The ring would serve as a crude reminder to Tenna about Spamton, specially the relationship he and Spamton once used to have.

Why is spamton so obsessed with getting tenna with him does he know himself?Other than the obvious all things considered he's achieved everything he wants hasn't he why does he need tenna?

For a fact, why Spamton needs Tenna around is basically longing, longing for their old relationship, or the pleasure their odd relationship brought to him everyday.

He knows himself, he knows he has everything he could ever ask for, but for him it gets lonely on the top when you don't have anyone to fuck around with.

But if You are feeling curious about how Spamton himself would answer to a question like that it would be something like this:

"i only need that [[TRASH-HEAP]] for the sales he brought in, he has a special [[je ne sais quoi]] for the audience. i don't care for anything other than [[those sweet sweet numbers!!]]"

He'll never be truthful to himself, or Tenna, or anyone

Going back to the swap spamtenna question in hand,, after the ring incident, i believe their already tense relationship would get worse, their dynamic in the AU is basically a "playing hard to get" dynamic in the most extreme way possible. After the ring Tenna actively tried to banish from any sort of sight from spamton which obviously just pisses him off more and hed start looking for Tenna in a Even more desperate way, more desperate than before. Spamton would Say he only does this because he still needs Tenna to run the show besides him, ofc this is tinted with such odd longing from him, whilst tenna has given up on coming back and prefers to leave in solitude the one thing he always feared but now hugs gratefully

So, why did spamton use the thorn ring at that moment, hes always have it around him, Just for a weird reason fo need that he has for it(the ring), the fact that he had it in his pocket the exacta same moment he was taking to tenna actually wasnt intencional, for him it was more like a last desperate way to make tenna stay or even Just remember him in general

Spamton in the au is someone who believe himself a bit too much which means he basically feels like he de serves to have what he asks for, and for him getting rejected by tenna so many times pissed him off badly enough, that it made him finally made him use the ring on tenna.

Maybe spamton did thought about giving tenna the ring maybe not, hes definitely not sure himself

He gets pissed off when ever he realizas how actually desperate he is of having tenna back.
