do you really think that kimharry is toxic? of course i refer to the ideal game route where harry choses not to use drugs and alcohol and be a good person - i keep seeing takes where people say kimharry is toxic due to harrys unresolved issues and tendency to sanctify his loved ones. is love only possible for people who are fully mentally healthy and have no flaws? why cant he have feelings for someone who truly can make him a better person? for me idealization is only toxic when the other person feasts off of it, i am in love and of course i idealize my partner every day, i think theyre a blessing for me, for my mental health and for my life and my loved one does not use my feelings against me because theyre a good person and they dont feel uncomfortable about it - is it toxic? why is kimharry toxic then? unresolved issues are toxic? people change and people get better, people make mistakes, people forgive and forget, people have better and worse days and still be in happy relationships it really is that simple. people are complex and when you meet someone who has positive influence on you it can really help you change unresolved issues into solved issues - even if it doesn't happen instantly. is learning more about each other and slowly creating a bond that lets you be comfortable toxic? changing for better and getting healthy takes time, but it doesn't require you to refrain from affection
